Yes, Thank you! 12s gauge EXP D'addario, but now they've changed to XS , a better version indeed but more expensive...

I haven't played it yet, as it isn't available in store, but having the similar specs of my Gold O6, I can totally recommend it. You need to know that there are two options in the Gold 6 series: 1. Gold A6, is Grand Auditorium and has a 45 mm width at the nut, and 2. Gold OC6, OM , a bit smaller than A6, but not by much. It's a 43 mm width nut. Hope this helps.

i got my cort gold a8 and it is really wonderfull sounding to me . i might consider to get the o8 bcuz im looking for a OM body shapes ... do hav any recommendation for OM body guitar under 1300usd ?

Hi, so you have the A8, that means you like Pau Ferro B&S, well I can recommend the O6 to you, the Mahogany B&S would bring a bit of a different sounding warmth compared to your A8. The OM usually sounds very good with the Mahogany. But it depends what you like. I don't think under 1300 USD you can find an OM better sounding and better value than the Cort O6 or O8.

If you want to look for OM's from other builders, I would say to look at Martin, Faith, Furch, Recording King, Walden. As far as I know these should have some OM under 1300$ but it will not be All-Solid Wood like the Gold series. And it will not have a Vintage Treated Top, plus all the nice inlays and UV finish that the Cort has, which is very important to be light weight and amazingly resonating while still protecting the wood.

Oh, just looking up for this on the web and it seems the Furch Blue OM should be right on your budget. And it's All-Solid wood. Furch are amazing guitars, never tried one, but hope to one day.

@@acecomputech That's a very good idea, I also have used ones, and was very pleased with the purchases. When you buy used, make sure the neck is straight otherwise it will cost quite a bit to fix it. Also the frets need attention as they get dent during many years of usage. Thank you for the wishes, you are very kind! All the best to you also!

Hi, saddly I didn't get a chance to try the Gold O8, but O6 and O8 are same top, same features, except the back and sides that first is Mahogany and second is Pau-Ferro, similar to rosewood. It's all about taste. The mahogany is warmer in sound, the Pau-Ferro has a more crispy sound to it. If you've ever tried mahogany B&S versus rosewood or Pau-Ferro, you might know what's the sound difference. Not a whole lot different since the top and all other features are the same. But it's more like a little something different in their tone... Hope this helps.

@@Strawhat.. Both work well, I don't think we can surely say that one is better than the other. It's about what each likes or dislikes. Rosewood is usually preffered over mahogany because it's a more expensive wood also. I would say rosewood gets a bit more punchier sound a deeper low. But I don't know what you like usually. I would suggest to try the O8, seems like a great fit for the fingerstyle mostly.

Oh, yes, it's great indeed, both looks and sound. So, have you noticed a huge difference in sound after removing the pickguard? What did you use to remove the adhesive under the pickguard?

@@77guitarts22 sorry, I didn't answer you like I did. It's easy, with a hair dryer the pickguard is heated, at the same time with your nail you start to take it off, with patience…. Is very safe!…
