Hi Tom. Love watching your digs. When I was a child I would explore & dig my great grandma's back yard. Consider coming to Waukesha WI. We have a rich history of healing springs & had 2 old bottling companies which still stand & have been repurposed.

I'm 60 years old and I absolutely love puzzles! It would be cool to see how much of that pitcher is actually left!!

I never really liked puzzles but l love putting together old pottery, china etc. even old papers back together especially those that have something to do with my family. My granddaddy's house has been in the same family since it was built c. 1830 so anything l find in the old junkpile, out in the fields l collect as part of my family history. Crazy it seems I also love family history that too is a puzzle.

Love watching you dig these pits and seeing what comes out. I too love digging but most of have been old trash piles. I especially like the area near where my granddaddy lived. His house was one he was raised up in and also the house his granddaddy built c. 1830. Anything l find plowed up where the rain has revealed it, be it pottery, china, grass etc. I collect, wash it and place in jars to display as part of our history. I also found the junk pile his parents used. It was fun just to see what they threw away, finding old bottles, porcelain, crock pieces, jugs etc. and found yellow ware and some red ware pieces l am saving. I would love to see the yellow ware and other pieces you put back together. Thanks for sharing Tom.
