You (as a family) are very hardworking. Your plantain and yam did so well. In my country yam grow at an average of six months. We grow yam at the beginning of rainy season and harvest them as dry season begins to set inn. We know that the yam is mature when the leaves turn yellow and weathers away. We don't grow them in cocoa farms.

Please How long did it take the yams to grow as big as this ?

It's different from the other yams we know.they only plant it once, when you uproot and some remain it germinate into a tuber again.
