Tipper, We have answered prayers with my grandson, Hudson. After St. Judes got his bone marrow and after much testing, they said it showed no sign of cancer. It turns out he had a virus that mimics cancer. I know it sounds crazy but I see it as God's hands. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers. God is good and prayers do matter.

I can't. Wait to see your boys. Exploring the christmas tree. Just make the lower batches child proof. If there's something on there that they can eat and I can slice of apple are candy caine. Something that they could play with. I don't know if you have any rattles. Are some bells hanging somewhere. The smells of christmas. 😂

Time goes by very fast, especially in a time when much change is afoot. Your family has gone through both very painful losses and miraculous growth this year. I admire how hard you all work. I have worked very hard this year due to various events outside my control. But I've also learned that some of the tasks on my list are just not that important, and other tasks, spontaneously chosen, at the time not considered very important, have provided much joy in a year I might have otherwise regarded as very difficult. Take time to celebrate life and love and all of God's blessings.

What I've read is that the years seem to go faster because as you age each year is a smaller percentage of your life. When you're 10 each year is 1/10 of your life but at my age each year is only 1/70 of of my life. When Matt said he bent his nail make I swear I could feel the pain. Thanks for letting me part of the family.

I’d love to see Matt pulling that wagon loaded with two little boys! One of Grandma Britt’s brothers was a black sheep in the family but none of the kids cared. When he came to visit he would take one of Grandma’s old quilts, load it with little guys and girls and 19:18 take off around the yard. Joy ensued!

You are an amazing family filled with love. You remind me so much of my family when my Mama was here. We were the Midwest version. Lived in a duplex with my Mom and Dad upstairs and brother a few blocks away. One of my favorite quotes by Dr. Seuss " “We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness-and call it love-true love.”

Tipper, tell Matt to cook the turkey just like he does the deer ham. My husband puts butter all up under the turkey skin. Douse it with a little vinegar. That helps tenderize it. He heavily covers the bird with cavenders' .greek seasoning . Cut up potatoes, carrots and onions and put them around the bird. He also buys a pepper and onion mix and puts it on top and around the bird. Put two layers of tin foil over the pan and seal it up tight to keep that moisture in there. It doesn't get as tender if you use a lid. It needs to be tin foil to seal it up real good. Bake at 300 for about 8 to 9 hours. He does it overnight like Matt does his deer roast. It's so tender and moist it will fall off the bone.

Matt and Tipper, There’s an air fryer that’s made to cook turkeys or chickens or ribs or hams or any larger meats. It uses propane just like your camp chef. We love it because we don’t have to buy oil, but you still get the crispy skin. It is called The Big Easy by Charbroil. They are often on sale this time of the year. You can often buy one on sale for less than the cost of peanut oil.

If you are just lucky enough, you will be sent an awesome feline friend who is half companion and half working animal. They make sure all of the dangers are neutralized while insisting on back and shoulder scritches. I currently have 2. They adopted me out of nowhere, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for the video tonight! I think the parsnips were woody due to the dryness of the summer. Amazing surprise to find the potatoes! God bless and be safe!

You sure look nice and comfy, sitting by the wood stove. And it’s great to hear Matt being so happy that it’s deer season, and they sure are hard to drag out of the woods! (I was lucky and got one last Saturday 😃👍)

Never realised you could grow potatoes from the peelings …..do they need to have an “ eye “ on the peeling ? Assuming they do ? Brilliant idea 👌😊……fabulous having Grandchildren ,they bring so much joy ❤

❤❤❤ That's what makes us different and interesting. I was born with white hair and still have it. My mother and her family is Cherokee. My brother's and sisters are very dark headed, so I stuck out like a sore thumb. My mom's uncle George used to called me "Moon". When we would go to great uncle George place to shoot his bow and arrows that he made, he would yell my name moon and everyone would look up at the sky.
