We're Hunting for HIDDEN TREASURES in the Park!

Christine is back in this park metal detecting adventure! We hit 5 tot lots and had some fun times, laughs and interesting finds! We used the Minelab X-Terra Elite metal detector!
In this episode, Christine started off the detecting and Bill was finding her targets. Her knee was not cooperating so she transitioned to camera operator and narrator. We had a lot of interesting finds and had a blast doing so until we hit a couple really sketchy locations. We finished the hunt but had to stay alert to our surroundings.

Thank you very much. We had fun but had to really pay attention to our surroundings in the area we detected this time. So many distractions to put it nicely. I would NEVER take a kid to a couple of those parks. Too many creeps and we get plenty of finds that could injure kids. Crazy

Still post-Milton so the beaches are still pretty much no-go and the parks are soggy so I'm going to get my 'fix' vicariously through you two! Christine has been having knee pain most likely from over use.... so much forced overtime and she is on her feet on concrete for 16 hours 2 to 3 times a week. I think she walks about 10 miles a shift and stairs included. I agree, our world is crazy right now and the amount of violence is sad to see.

Well, as you may have noticed, Christine has not touched the Vanquish or even the Pro since she got it. It has proven to do a really good job so far and even at the beach, it has out performed the Pro. I think they did a good job with the multi frequency and not sure why they did not do that with the pro?

I still prefer the vlf Garrett detector lines. 6.5 hertz to 10mhtz. The newer ones aren't bothered much under high tension wires. Mine is Garrett 250 with nels tornado coil. I have the sniper coil Garrett accessory I could search area small for over 45 minutes just to find deeper rusted out nickels.
