This song just hits different. The raw emotions are palpable throughout. It lets the listeners know that their pain is understood by someone else and it gives you a look into the pain of someone you'll never truly know. It's a beautiful paradox. Thank you!

Just discovering diggy. But damn this song hits hard. As once a Christian Bible thumping girl, lost a dad cancer, 2 step dads (one to cancer one to a house fire, my little sister to herself, then lost my mother 2 yrs ago suddenly to kidney failure. I'm only 35. What little faith I had is now gone. That girl is a ghost now.

@@Zailwyn0088 I dont have a clue what you have went through and NO ONE else will ever know completely either and I do feel for you but as a non-neverbeen-bible thumper and not one to talk religion really but a Christian I just happen to see this post and hardly ever read post on youtube i dont watch more than maybe an hour of you tube a week max my girl (and i am "her guy".... equals) intro me to Diggy in the last 3 -6 months, so IAM SAYING the chance of me me out of everyone that voices there religious views more than i do, which is A LOT so thinking of all that and i am going to tell you and you being the first person in my 42 years of life that i have said anything like this to and that is that IF IT IS POSSIBLE FOR HOW TORE UP YOU FEEL AND LOST TO BE UNDERSTOOD IN THOUGHT AND FEELING..... God would be the only one the only one that would know just what to say the only one that would know just what you need to make everything feel like all those you have lost and all those you haved ever loved and all those that have hurt you and did wrong to you hugging you with all the love they are capable of giving all at once, and I feel like maybe God wanted me to tell you this and that even though God cant do that right now for you because you know that being granted a full life of free will was never about having anything like that, you know if you CONTINUE to have faith in God that God has promised you that God will make sure you feel all of that and everything else you deserve when God has decided it is your time to be with God and then do you know God will feel that wonderful and beautiful and everything for the rest of eternity with you. I CAN ONLY IMAGE HOW AWESOME IT MUST FEEL TO SEE GOD HAPPY just think about it for 2 seconds right NOW dont cheat yourself do it............ it put a smile on your face didn't it, I just figured that out right now thats crazy. I have been 100% truthful in what i typed and never have even thought of doing anything like this before, and dont know why i did now besides i just felt like it. Hope i dont sound like an idiot or oversteped but if i did sorry but everyone knows the truth when they let themselves FEEL IT you were born with it! Sincerely, I_themissinglink_AM P.s. this name i've had since 06' so not made up for this. P.s.s. I believe i have heard a bible thumper or 2 say that it says "God is happiest when his children are at play" as far as thinking about seeing God happy.

I found you on insta and won't lie, I didn't think I'd relate as much as I do to this song. I struggled a lot with night terrors and sleep paralysis as a kid up til I was 14, I prayed every night for it to end but it seemed like shit got worse. My real, true lose of faith was when my mom died for a few minutes. She had a bad dirt bike accident, I'm talking in a field with her brother and nobody else and random wild dogs run infront of her, causing her to lose control and cracking her skull open on a rock. She was and still is very faithful, but in my eyes, I took that as god giving the middle finger to one of his "beloved" Christians. She is back now, as she is now half blind and has memory issues (she can't really remember the start of her or my life). I'm sorry for your losses and as well, thank you for the incredible music!

It’s okay to struggle. Everyone does. But if we don’t believe in goodness, there is no reason to fight back, to improve or find anything worth saving while there definitely are things, people we deeply love and are worth our attention, love and hope. The struggle and frustration is actually a sign we want to protect what’s important but we struggle with believe in good. We can’t let darkness define us, we’re better than this. And prayers answered with our own work and effort, you can’t expect God do all the work for you, what would you learn if he would?
