Our very own sunny beach, who are from West Bengal. This time it is really better compare to last 2 years. I visited with my family and friends and found the beach improved a lot. The crowd has been better. As a girl I could say ,now it is not so unsafe to travel with your girl's group. Lights are there ,well maintained sitting area to enjoy the breeze and the view with coconut water and fried fish. Sanitization system is improved and it's a good news for women that no more we have to ran here for washroom on emergency. As we may all know that digha is divided in two parts:
1. Old Digha
2. New Digha, people can enjoy both parts on a same day with the help og rickshaw,tuk tuk or van.
Fare:10/person.
If you wanna enjoy fresh seafoods and local sweet water fish, a visit to Neheru market and Mohana is must. Now the question comes..'how to eat them'?
No worries, many hotels now a days put a board for frying those fish/ making tasty curries of them on a nominal price, but you better negotiate.Let me know if you need any further information.
Train fare (howrah): 80-140 ( depends upon trains and reservations).
