It isn't too surprising when they didn't have a ton to say about episodes 4 and 5, and even less about 6 and 7. As I'm sure you paid attention to, they had noted that it was clearly a slower part of the show with a dip in quality, and said that if they were just marathoning the show they probably would barely notice that slowness. So they're sticking to their words and will just marathon 8 to the end, rather than potentially coming out with several more episodes with not much to say. They're making the fair reasoning that the start and end will have the most punch, and are giving it the benefit of the doubt that it will deliver later due to how strong it was to begin with.

Yeah the panel from Anime Expo was way better. Both Q & A's, but the audience from Q&A was way more into it and were deeper fans. Way more questions about topics that are on your main fucking channel than there should have been I think.

Cowboy Bebop is my favourite anime and therefore I recommend it to everyone and the guy who was sitting next to me in school last year said something along the lines of: "Watched the first episode once with my gf. The artstyle is ugly af I can't watch that shit. Snk is way better anyways." And I was so dumbfounded by that statement that I haven't asked him about the show since.

it's funny because i feel about cowboy bebop the same way he feels about gate. I've seen it whole, and besides the opening, i don't see what i'm supposed to like in this anime. I didn't care for the characters and as of now i can't even tell if there was a plot or not and it wasn't even funny. The art has gotten slightly old even still ok. It felt that the longest character introduction ever. I would have dropped it if wasn't so famous. However the characters weren't bland even if they didn't grow on me and I would totally understand why someone who love them would love the show
