There's no set scaling system when it comes to Digimon really. For instance, Wargreymon in the original series was only slightly taller than a human. Whereas in the remake he's gigantic. Perhaps you could have tried going by each anime incarnation for simplicity. 🤔

Digimon sizes can change due to data consumption or other reasons. Other examples not mentioned include like Rookie Level Digimon in Data Squad/Savers are way bigger than the average Rookie in Adventure. Tsurugi’s Greymon in Digimon Next was shown to be way smaller than the average Greymon. Some Digimon can just manipulate their size which happened a lot in early Data Squad/Savers also a more specific example I can think of is Kuzuhamon in Ghost Game.

In the original anime, Weregarurumon was in fact smaller than Garurumon though. Even though Garurumon was pretty big, Weregarurumon was only as tall as Yamato's father, so small that he can even ride the missile from Metalgreymon's chest. Even Metalgarurumon doesn't look bigger than Garurumon.

Makes sense that a lot of the Digimon coordinate their sizes around the size of the children. Angemon and Angewoman are about the size of adults and being close to the kids and being on their side would make them feel more secure. The beast Digimon big and tough but having them be a little bit more humanoid might bring a little extra assurance to the kids, especially with them being angels. Im sure seeing you're fully evolved Digimon coming over the horizon to protect you was a very welcome sight. The kids return that by helping out however they can

Looks very good! You're probably taking into account the original Digimon Adventure (1999) sizes... DA2020 has drastically changed them. Though I didn't like DA2020's story that much, I feel their digimon sizes makes much more sense (e.g.: WarGreymon being larger than MetalGreymon). You should probably give it a try! Also you'd have truly gigantic digimon such as Millenniummon, Abbadomon and ElDoradimon

I prefer the logic that Metalgarurumon and Wargreymon being much smaller than Greymon, because they got the speed and a much more concentrated power. Omegamon was also a lot shorter than people would imagine.
