I am a native Japanese speaker, and I usually feel some awkwardness when I listen to Japanese Anime songs covered in English. HOWEVER, I love this translation. The words used in the lyrics use expressions that are not in the Japanese version and are a little different from the actual translations, but those words somehow match the theme of Digimon and the original song really well. Also, it made me think that some expressions might be more preferred than the original. I am wondering why I was not able to find this for around 5 years.

Bastion Sea I agree with that, fandoms really don't need to fight. (I've watched Digimon first season and it was awesome, but I don't like other seasons of it. The first season is really good cause the children don't really know what to expect in in digital world, but in second (and so on(I watched second season too) it's more like a game than a anime. And Pokemon is whole like game and it has lots of episodes. But Pokemon games are awesome (I haven't played much Pokemon or Digimon games, but I'm saying about those that I've played). And so the Digimon and Pokemon are equal (they both have very good songs too (I mean beginning and finish songs)) and the fandoms shouldn't fight. But this is just MY OPINION!!!! Nobody should be angry with me. Sorry for my bad English.

Amalee, whether you read this or not, I have found such great comfort in your versions of my favorite anime music. The last couple of years I have struggled with a depression that i cant share. Just a little over a year ago I stumbled upon one of your attack on titan covers. It's easy to say I fell in love with it, but it's more than that. The way you sing them, the careful translation that's not 100%, but puts the original intent on English context, and pacing change on some songs is one of the most beautiful things I've come across in music, let alone fandom. I find myself listening to your covers more than any other music out there, and it bring me the most calm and comfort I've known in recent years. From soul to soul, thank you. I have to say this... Stop comparing Digimon to Pokemon. Both games / franchises have there strengths and weaknesses. Both franchises are good in its own right, so why do we need to remove the good and focus on the negative? The only horse i got in that race/debate is the fact Pokemon is popular enough that i can watch it online in my OWN language, for free.. LEGALLY. I cant even pay to watch digimon that way... And we only ever got the first 2 seasons too...

This cover is fantastic! Tri was the perfect sequel story for fans of digimon who grew up with it as kids, it aged with us. It was such a fantastic show! Not to mention, gave us new mega evolutions! I love this theme song, I love Digimon, I love Tri!
