I was not expecting to be fighting such powerful Digimon this early. It took luck for us to fight back as hard as we did.

I was so shocked by her final member. I ran in their with a lv 8 kuwagamon and honestly just got super lucky.

Just for context, SkullBaluchimon has a base stat total of 580

when roxanne suddenly throw that mon in, i was scared for my rookie mons. but glad that most of my mon have evolved atleast once so their stat are somewhat matched when they are around that lvl (20ish). so safe to assume that gym leaders will have a mega lv mon as their Ace monster.

@@asrafkhalid1231 I went in with a level 12 team, assuming having a Water type and three Grass types would have been good enough. I had to switch Karatsuki Numemon in on an Ice Fang, use Foam Shower to lower its Speed, so that when it died Floramon was faster to put it to sleep twice (Full Heal), then switched in Tanemon to Leech Seed it. Budmon with Spiky Shield sealed the deal.

honestly in my og run. i thought the lvl cap was like the original game, lv15. and when i saw skull bachimon, i thought i saw devilmon looking at me laughing after losing and going to grind i got agumon dragon rage, and luckily that was enough.

Regarding the drop in levels after digivolving, I remember watching another ROM hack some years back, that included mega's, which had the same issue - the mega pokemon was not the same level as the one it mega eveolved from. The general consensus on that was, that the mega pokemon used a pokemon slot with a different XP-curve, meaning it took more XP to get to level 100 (from million to i.e. 1,5 million), resulting in a level drop. I'm thinking the same thing happened here - when Yuki evolved, it's evolution needs more XP, so the same amount of XP resulted in a lower level.

I wanna play this. So far there haven't been any Digimon I do not recognize. But... I'm obsessed soooo... I wish you had grabbed Xiaomon, Wanyamon, and Dorimon though. They generally turn into some of my favorite Digimon.

Oh, yeah this Rozanne battle was fierce on my end too at least towards the end. Her last Digimon is a problem especially at level 18. Luckily for me I had trained my party to be on the same level. Lost only one of my Mons but it was a sacrafice as it allowed my own Palmon to finish it off as I had to waste one of it's move in particular to take it out.

I had to waste her last Digimon's Dig PP cause I had a rare Steel/Electric Type that I don't believe you have ran into and I had a Gaomon at that time he beat her first two Rock Digimon but her last Digimon is a Rock/Ghost type so he had no way of hitting it but he was the only Digimon I could use to make her waste Dig.

Still trying to play alongside these vids, but what I noticed was when my YukimiBotamon evolved, it's level lowered. Has that happened to anyone else?

yeap, mine the same. it drops 3 lv and cooper's was lv 16 and it drops to lv 13. i guess some mon will lose some of its lv when it digivolved

I believe it may be that YukimiBotamon and Chakmon have different levelup curves, with Chackmon needing a lot more EXP to level up early on

My copy of this game keeps glitching out lol, Looking at the status of the digimon it's just a blank screen unless i'm in a pokemon center, can't learn new moves during combat level ups without potentially crashing.

Skull Belluchimon was an ultimate level digimon, fight with Roxanne was extremely intense. Pusurimon should be an ellectric type, his whole evolution line looks like a hedgehog (english is not my mother language i hope i wrote that word right) and his mega level is Rasenmon he looks very spikey. Diablo is a baby form of Dracmon but this game might give him a different evo. line. And Chakkomon should digivolve into 1 of the 10 legendary warriors, so he should be a strong ice type.

@@CasualCooper So after Punimon(the red in_training one you caught in the first episode) digivolved once you could use either a red or a black digi egg in order to get Tyrannomon, Dark Tyrannomon and that's it.
