agree it make's the evolutions more personal, Really whis it would have acted the same for the baby evolution as well, say instead for koromon to evolve into agumon if you ran away it would have turned into a black agumon or toyagumon, instead, that would have been so cool. Really hope we get more game's like this for Digimon going forward.

Hmm someday guess will play this doesnt look bad and i always like to try games before i have an opinion and in the end its my opinion just and i respect others for theirs, there is no wrong or right here, i like visual novels also so seems a cool mix and having played most digimon games cant miss this one :)

Can you revert back to their rookie form like in cyber sleuth series ?

Yes the partner ones revert to their rookie forms always after the fights over. The ones you recruit stay the same as they have evolved like its in the lore too. And you can take advantage of that devolution in the middle of the fight too if you are not in the need of the stronger for you can get back some SP points that way. Also if you run out of them you revert back to your rookie from so its kinda like in the series.

The story is heavy in this one, I saw another gameplay, 3 min into the game starts fighting for like 2 min and another 55 minutes is story talks 😂😂

There is more long and harder fights later in the game. And the story sets the fights up really good and the story gets really heavy on the way. So far loving this game.

The fight is long and harder later on but still not as long as the game longest story. I always play in hard mode battle but I figured it's just require normal level of strategy in any srpg I ever played, hard level is not that terribly punishing. Bout the story it's understandable given the producer of the game himself stated that this game 70% vn and 30% srpg. Unfortunately many don't get that and felt tricked, especially those who aren't into vn or reading and expecting more action which end up the game getting reviewbombed which is sad. Still i do hope they tone up the difficulty, maybe very hard, or asian lol. And not just about number but also mechanic like the scale, terrain, obstacles etcs.

Please all i ask is to make a digimon game that's free roam. Like dbz: kakarot ...that would make them way better and a lot more money. The first installment of this fantasy game could have the first 4 seasons of the series. where we could play the actual story. Then once we beat the seasons, we could cross seasons say we have season 3 joining season 1 but you could beat the with another character from a different season even the dialogue changes between the tamers vs the dark masters and make it anime asf like battles are anime naruto/dbz level. Make it mature. Then if this idea is successful as i know it would be. Either create dlc or another separate game with all the digimon series and the ability to create your own digimon and you get to mix and create its evolution line with custom digimon. Also, add the other lesser known digimon to the game.this would be multi-player game. Might never happen but i can dream (sigh)

I love the idea, but as developer and analyst myself I doubt the part where they make more money. The bigger the scale of the game the bigger the cost of development, the longer the development, and more importantly the bigger the risks. Dbz kakarott benefited from not so many characters/creature it has and the world feels pretty empty, while in world full of digimon a there are tons of digimons, from any stage of evolution, so the world is gonna be more filled than dbz kakarot which feels so spacious or for me rather empty. Even in pokemon they had to cut down so the world only has one generation of monsters with some extras, they can't fit in all generation into one game, same applies for digimon. In short, digimon world will be far more rich and beautiful than dbz kakarot which dominated by desolated island, dessert, mountain and hills.
