To this day I’m wondering why they made emperor blue. It should’ve been red/green/purple

They had to include Tommy since Tommy was blue and because of the whole thing show wise of the wind and ice spirits being merged with the spirits of fire to have Takuya unified into Emperor

That wouldnt follow the anime. Takuya had Izumi and Tomoki, Koji had Koichi and Junpei. Unless they for some reason retcon the plot of Frontier like 20+ years later then it just had to be this way. If anything it's Bandai's fault for not making everyone the right color the first time 🤷‍♂️
