I think I might have found the BEST tech card for Loogamon! After previously getting top 16 at the Offline Texas Regional, I tweaked the deck a bit to get top 8 in the May 4th 2024 Core TCG Ultimate Cup! Come check out my unique-ish decklist!

Love the choices to cut down Helloogar and increase your flexibility/early playmaking. I think the rookie splits are good too, every non looga rookie I tried eventually felt pretty poor.

Just some mic etiquette advice. If you move the mic away from your mouth a bit. You wont be popping air and saliva into it. It can wear down the mic and get alot of moisture in. Also it makes you sounds way more natural when you speak.

the mat and sleeves are hella clean you're getting hella sibilance and plosives on the mic tho, can probs have it further away from your mouth if you don't have windscreen infront of it :) fantastic list o7

Another tech card I like using every now and then is Myotis Ace. Bring back a looga or eiji. And sometimes you get to blast over the gato to be able to proc the retaliation inheritable. Overflow does suck but with enough analog youths it becomes negligible. Protoform being able to grab it so you can reuse the blast digi if your fenri gets removed is funny

I’m not a fan of the new option. I think the searching we have in the deck currently is superior, BUT if you really wanted to play it you could cut protos since it’s more of a person tech preference for me.

If you had to cut something for the 3rd Helloogar, what is your "most flexible slot?" I've spent way too much time searching for that card even playing 4 in my version

Good question, I think it depends on what you personally value more. If it were me and I absolutely had to add the 3rd helloogar, I would probably cut grolwmon.

I'm suprised you're not playing Dober X in the deck. It's practically a 2nd OG loogarmon with it's inherit, and a draw trash one for evo. Helps you cycle thru the deck quicker and gets cards in trash. On top of all that as a added bonus gives anything retaliation. Many a times where I have blocker and had gave it retaliation off of Dober X. It's a great card for the deck.

I agree! I think it’s super strong, my friend that I mentioned building the deck with tested it for a long time and we decided this level 4 line up worked the best for us, but I wouldn’t mind trying it again.

Isn't new Looga meant to deal with Floodgates so you don't run any other out of archetype counter for those? Just asking

Absolutely! I mention that in the video as well. So a lot of the time when you’re going for combo you don’t want to commit a swing to deleting a floodgate.

You don’t skip evo’s, but it lets you reduce cost reduction of most of your digivolution lines.

@@anticss I would honestly love to know why. Not because I disagree, but because on paper it makes sense to me, however come bt16 and beyond its my first choice cards to cut for the newer support. So if I have proper justification to cut it early I would love to know why lol

My rational for keeping was always that if I hit Eiji or any of my lvl 4s, thats okay becuase I can work with them in the trash. I should mention that I run Fangmon (which I would also like to know why you opted not to run it) that way I can take back pieces I accidentally milled with Mist. The only true tragedies of Mist at that point would be Analog, kimera, and ADP.

@@SecurityCheckmate I just personally don't like the RNG of boosts, trashing or bottom decking the wrong cards. Also there's so many memory blockers right now it doesn't feel worth it for me. I'd rather reduce my digivolution costs through training and proto.

@@skseiba8450 you could maybe look at cutting growlmon for it. I see growlmon as a preference tech, so it can be cut for anything you want.
