In today's Deck Profile, we take a look at Alex's build for Dark Masters Megazoo! This deck is all about playing big bodies to do either do massive damage or to control the board. Immediately before filming this Deck Profile, Alex went undefeated with this list at the Tabletop Republic Store Tourney so it's a very potent list with a LOT of power!

Really good Deck profile! And congrats on winning the tournament! 🫡 My current Deck version for Dark Masters that I'm trying out are almost similar to yours except with: -I do play Scorpiomon (2 copies) to help snag my pieces as well as a single copy of Imperialdramon Dragon Ace to make Scorpio still useful -I'm currently testing with 3 copies of each Dark Master. I know Piedmon and Machinedramon are important for the Omnimons, but besides loving ALL the Dark Masters I also find them very good at controlling the battlefield so having Puppet and Metalseadra felt important and good. Again, still testing before deciding if I want to go with the ratios like yours -Lastly I play Analog Youth, it's still good for searching pieces (and not fully committing into playing more Scorpios) and its trash effect can be handy to set up for Apocalymon since Apocalymon is still a pretty good alternative win condition. Either way, this is awesome and I can't wait to update the Deck again when Vikemon + GranKuwagamon Aces comes out

Thank you so much, I'll let Alex know what you think about his list! I like your choices too. I suppose it's all about if you want to facilitate more of the Dark Masters strategy or more of the Omnimon strategy. With Apocalymon to one, I think most people are going towards more of the Omnimon side of things but you've got to do what works for you at the end of the day!

​@DUDigimon that's very true, I'm mainly focusing on balancing both Omimons and Dark Masters. Again, I'm just testing to see if I like this route, but if it doesn't work out I'll go with your idea and max out Pied + Machine, cut Metalseadra + Puppet down to 2 copies each. Either way, someday the Dark Masters will get more further support. I know technically have one new support coming, Gulfmon, but unfortunately it's not game changing for the Deck. We just gotta keep waiting, whether it's new Mons like Gulfmon that support Dark Masters, the Dark Masters themselves get even more cards, and/or we get another Apocalymon (that isn't as stupidly broken as the current Apocalymon).

Lovely profile! Love the omni stack up shenanigans ive got a similar deck to this altho i use a couple of p-109 imperialdramon and some blitz omni so i do play scorpion dude but its a great profile might give it a try as well.

Nice one. I know Alex tried out the Imperial for a while but he massively prefers MegaGargomon now.

Alex here! I used Scorpiomon for a good while, to go into Imperialdramon ACE. I found that having a Blue/Green. I've since come to prefer Wisemon, being able to go into both ACEs I use today, and all three I'll be using as of BT16, but I've seen many people have slight variations to their preferences with good results!

I have also cut Scorpio in my build to add wisemon. I run X program for removal and Omnimon X from BT5. There is even a tech option with Rapidmon ST17-07, which is also green/black and can be played from zwart. When you go into Gargo ace on it and block, it will trash a security.

Rapidmon is a good tech option! Has a decent on play too with the De-Digivolve followed by the protection effect!
