Agreed! If there's one thing Fox Kids should never have done, it was remove all the Japanese songs from the original Digimon Adventure English Dub and the Movie! And that includes "Butterfly!" The song is epic beyond belief, and it symbolizes everything Digimon stands for! Whoever is Redubbing this Movie clearly understands that too!

This is clearly being handled by people who understand both what makes the original great as well as the English dub iconic. This is almost certainly being made by fans, so hopefully we get the best of both versions of these movies, something that keeps the Willis plot but allows more time for it to breathe.

I was literally crying when first I watched this. This amazing reunion of voice actors to do something they truly did not have to do FOR THE FANS, decades old year movies remastered and long retired and beloved voice actors like Joshua Seth, Michael Reisz, Colleen O’Shaughnessy, Lara Jill Miller, Tom Fahn, Brian Donovan, etc. coming back to voice these beloved characters. This is a dream come true for me, and this has made my day

Yep, as they got back the surviving cast members (while having Elise Lovelock and Eli Farmer take over as Mimi and Joe, making me hope Diskotech adds a message giving tribute to Philece Sampler and Michael Lindsay, the original VAs for those two), making it uncut while keeping the humor Fox Kids and Saban gave it to keep the nostalgia up, and best of all, no Angela Anaconda to cause someone to make a fanfic about her causing his or her parents to get a divorce on 4chan for the sake of hating on her).

This is why to this fay, I’m sticking to my way of listening to music via collecting physical media or buying from digital retailers. Though the older something is and less popular, the less likely it’s available on any digital platforms, buy or stream. It must be due to licensing issues. Lots of legal ramifications to handle just to have one song available on digital (I’ve seen the paperwork it’s nuts). Thankfully I own the physical movie soundtrack, which features the songs you’ve mentioned, and ripped it to my digital library.

This brings me SO much joy. Seeing the VAs come back where they can is so heartwarming. They even got Lara Jill Miller!!! I didn't know if we'd ever see her again after Tri but it is so nice to hear all these familiar voices. It's truly wonderful. I sincerely hope it will be available for regular DVDs as well as Blueray since I don't have a Blueray player. Cause I'd definitely love to get this.

There are certain things they're keeping from the 2000 script (heck, you can even hear a few lines here in this trailer) but overall it's going to be interesting watching these three movies, with nothing taken out. And what's more is that most of the original cast is back, minus one or two they couldn't get back, and of course those who are no longer with us. This must have been both surreal and nostalgic for the cast.

​​@@therobotchickenMLPthe score Udi Harpaz released recently were unedited recorded scoring sessions for two of the Adventure 1 short films, but you are right, because in Our War Game, the opening credits were just blacked backgrounds with Japanese credits, which made it easy to cut out of the film when localising it outside of Japan, and Udi Herpaz's track for that specific scene was for the exemption of the opening credits. Other than that, the rest of the score can and will fit right in, because it was a musical score recorded specifically for the uncut short films. The only problem could be replaced by the OG and fitting Digital Monsters opening song, or the Golden Oldie that is Digimon, Digital Monsters English opening.

This... is a childhood dream! For years, me and my pet human have been yearning for so long, that one day, the original Digimon cast would return to voice our childhood icons we've grown up with to give the first three digimon films a proper english dub! I am at lost for words at this point.... "Digimon: The Movie", despite being just three movies mashed together for a cheesy, feature-length english dub with over-the-top humor, was one of our favorite films from my human's childhood days! I want to salute the people up at Discotek Media for making this a reality, and I can't wait to see all three of them, especially the hi-def restoration of Digimon: the Movie!🥹🥹🥹😭😭

Another great trailer for a Digimon movie, Digimon are almost always completely cool, they have more emotion and dynamics than Pokémon are more on the Beyblade side, but they lack something to add in all versions. Because the Tri dub was done by Studiopolis in LA and they have a policy that once you've retired, you're out of their rolodex and they won't even contact you about reprisals. Joshua Seth only reprised Tai because he contacted them himself. This redub is being done by Sound Cadence and their goal was to mimic the original sound of the movie. Since they were able to employ remote recording as well, it was easier to get some people back.

@@BrianAwesome No, the uncut dub will use the Japanese score. Mimicing the original only applies to the voice actors.
