Digimon World | Bug | No Mech Techniques at the Gym

Thanks for the upload, Geta. 😊 There is an exploit, that I am not sure you know about or no, but you can actually „forcibly“ cause the Guardromon in Factorial town that helps you digivolve mamemon to metalmamemon to battle you You have to adjust somehow the camera to make the screen fit him with one of the other two Guardromon. What’s interesting about him is that he is the only „normal“ digimon that uses Full potential. Not sure if you could learn it from him though by recurrent battling

I know about it. I also think it's unintended, but it's actually pretty easy to trigger without camera manipulation. There is enough space to get both on screen at the same time. It's indeed pretty neat to learn Full Potential. One problem is that the triple battle has a chance to crash the game due to too many effects being rendered at once. Still worth it though.

​@@Geta92 I actually triggered that specific crash multiple times on different playthroughs. Getting Full Potential is always worth it. So, I always timed my attempts to learn it, by waiting until my Digimon was needing to sleep, so I could quickly attempt to redo it, if it did actually crash.

What order are techs unlocked in?

Power Crane > Reverse Prog > Pulse Laser > Full Potential > Delete Program > All Range Beam > DG Dimension

@@Geta92 so just make sure you learn power crane from guardromon and then you become able to learn techs from the gym?

@@Struanstream Yup. Unless you have SkullGreymon, Mamemon or MetalMamemon. They can't learn Power Crane so they can learn their mech moves without any issues. They can't learn all mech techniques by themselves, so you need to eventually learn Power Crane from battle though.
