@8:22 What if the digital sum of the equation comes 1 and the options show digital sum to be 1 more than once ? For example, if you take the answer of this question and rearrange the digits such that the digital sum remains the same. What method can we use then

Digit sum is the sum of digits (may be large), what you mean here (continue until < 10) is digital *root*.
