So here’s what I think of the DCM “Welcome to our World” Idents. Amazement: I hate it because it scares the heck out of me whenever it starts, would be better if they didn’t change the music. I went to the cinema to see Despicable Me 4 expecting to see “Laughter” but instead I got a mini heart attack out of it. Laughter: I like it because of how funny it is. Suspense: No comment because I’ve never seen it.

Laughter still kinda scares me ngl, I guess it's just of how loud it is. But, they had no need to change the background music for Amazement, the music they were using was fine.

I'm pretty sure the logo at 2:49 was used in between the 1969 and 1973 logos…

UPDATE: I checked AVID and the aforementioned logo was actually used from 1971 until 1973.

Missing "Cinema Media" the ident after RSA but before Carlton. This was the name of the company that Carlton bought off Rank and rebranded it, and the reason why it reverted back to the Cinema Meria name (with Digital added) when it was sold again. I can't believe this crucial ident is left out!!

last few times i've ever been to a cinema that is allowed to use DCM ads, I've only ever seen Amazement. Doesn't matter what the film is, only Amazement. Which is strange, cause, I would of expected to have seen the other two, maybe.

Right here’s my take on the DCM welcome to our world Idents. Amazement: Brilliant, I see it more now since I usually just watch Animated Generic Films, I didn’t see the old version though. Laughter: I hated it because it scared me, It’s very abrupt on the speakers, recently I went to my nearest Odeon to watch The Garfield Movie and when they said it’s time for the ads I was like, time to rave because I thought it was just Amazement and suspense but then I saw the dog and i was like, They still making this stuff!? Suspense: no comment basically Becuase I’ve never saw it. I will change this comment if I see it.
