Just to make clear, any text with pointed corners doesn't make it "Digital." Digital means based on binary digits 0s & 1s. For example a stepper motor is Digital Motor because it uses 0s and 1s to operate. It has no such display "digital" display!

It's called a "Digital" clock because it's showing only changing numbers to tell you the time, instead of a round analog face with hands.
