Thank YOUUU for talking about this! You're the first person to do it thoroughly and in a well-versed manner. I have been on a digital declutter dunk for the past year and SO many people question why I delete chats on Instagram/WhatsApp/Messenger and keep my gallery free. This is EXACTLY the type of validation I needed 😂❤

I deleted 9,824 emails today because of your video. I also deleted my facebook and instagram apps off of my phone. It's so freeing. Thank you for the motivation. I'm excited to see what else you declutter. 😊

If you find your storage on your phone is super full, go into General settings, storage, and scroll down to find the text message icon (at least on iPhone). You can go into it and choose to auto delete old conversations and also it will show you "large files" so like, if someone texted you a gif or video or photo, you can delete tons of them right there and it will free up alot of "system data". You can also go into your photos and separate "screenshots" from your actual photos and go through them all in one spot. (Can you tell I have had to do this alot lol)

that auto settings for your messages is a great tip I had no idea that was an option! definitely would have saved me a lot of time haha, thank you for the suggestions💕

If you try to unsub from some emails and they don't let you or the link doesn't work (🤨 ), mark it as spam. Problem solved haha. Also, I will sometimes go into my gmail's "promo" tab and whatever is in there I run a search (In Quotations!) for like "DSW VIP", "AAA Travel", etc etc etc, and then you can mass delete lots of old stuff. I also will search terms like "Ends tonight", "free", "This offer", "you've been selected", "congratulations" and mass delete tons and tons of garbage that way. Try to think of dumb click bait taglines that businesses send you and you will find a ton of outdated offers and expired coupons lol.

Contacts I did a few days ago and photos and emails I keep up with at least weekly. But instagram is definitly a forgotten one. (So I will go trough it after this video) Random question, lovely tattoo! Do you have more?

When I have to unsubscribe from the same email list multiple times, I just go ahead and flag that as spam.
