Can someone please tell me how will this problem be solved? I mean how can we resolve this problem if overflow has occurred in our circuit??

no way of 'solving' the problem . we can only make sure that the limiting case is as unreachable as possible . thus going for a 32 bit system and furthermore a 64 bit one . here 64 bit and 32 bit refer to the size of data bus , on which data flows

The Honeywell DPS-8 mainframe had a 9-bit byte. Caused no limit of interoperations problems. Thanks for the post.
