I am not a coffee drinker, but I noticed that bakeries open at 6am or so, if they sell coffee, that could be a solution maybe? Bakeries do open very early and they have fresh bread and pastries (called "facturas") in the morning that are delicious!!! If you get to the bakery late in the day, they will be still good, but even fresher in the morning or afternoon. I also loved the ice cream in Buenos Aires at the "heladerias". The one thing you left out, I feel is that there is a ton of live theater, but that's definitely something directed to the Spanish speakers. But your content here is 100% accurate and I can't say I tend to agree with a lot of reviewers. Well done.

Welcome to Argentina, anytime! Buenos Aires has just a few big parks, but defintely there many museums in Buenos Aires. Tourists visit the Malba and the Nacional de Bellas Artes, and forget about the rest. There are museums about art, cartoons (Museo del Humor), natural science including dinos (Bernardino Rivadavia), history, tango, currency, cinema, football (soccer), cars... anything under the sun. There is even a reproduction of the house of Anna Frank. Many of the museums have a beautiful old architecture as interesting as the things in display, like Museo Larreta, Museo Fernández Blanco sede Noel, Museo de Arte Decorativo. The entrance fees are free or unexpensive in most of them.

¿¿1.0000 dólares por una habitación??. Quizás el alquiler temporal sea más caro, pero suena excesivo.

Much appreciate your excellent information and presentation. I am planning a trip there in January 2023, to check out the living feasibility as a solo. I would highly appreciate it if you would share some information especially how to make some friends without being able to speak Spanish. Thank you so much.

Good advice here, well done. I've lived in BA for 17 years and it's definitely much less secure than previous years and crime is on the increase, I'm afraid. I would definitely not walk around staring at my phone and much less with earbuds because in this place you need to be aware at all times.

Thank you for sharing your insights! My husband and I will be traveling to Buenos Aires in a few weeks, and we're planning to spend about a month there as digital nomads. I'd love to know which barrios you would recommend. Our priorities are good internet and general safety, and we're not huge on nightlife but do enjoy going out to eat once in a while. Walkable neighborhoods with grocery stores and other amenities nearby are a huge plus! Are there any places you would recommend? We hope to keep it under $1000/month for housing. Thank you for any advice you can offer and for making this video!

It is more worthwhile to know the south of Brazil, better quality of life and safer than Argentina at this moment. Cities like Curitiba, Florianopolis, Itajai, Balneario Camburiu. You can live very well on $1000.

I am an American currently living in China and Didi is L I F E! I spend around 40 rmb or $6.50 to and from work each way. Awesome company, don't need to speak any Chinese, it's fantastic.

I'm living in BSAS, staying in a decent AirBnb, cooking at home a lot but still eating our regularly and getting out to explore the city. My expenses are right around $1,300, everything included (rent, food, transit, etc.), and I feel quite comfortable. If I could find an apartment lease at local rent rates and made efforts to be more frugal, I'm sure I could get it down to 600$ and still be pretty comfortable.
