Just finding all of this and it is so helpful! Thank you! I would be curious to know the criteria you use for creating your Smart Albums. I've made them before but can never get the album to shrink... that would be so helpful in organizing

Hi Lauren. Well today is the day! I've met the goal that I set for myself for sorting several generations/years of printed photos using POP! I still have work to do before my printed photos are ready to scrapbook, but I feel I'm in a good place to finally purchase Forever Historian and start my digital photo organizing. I've been watching this episode 8 again and I'm working on my planner to get a little more organized. When I purchase the Historian software I will select you as my Ambassador. Hope you have a great Sunday!

Linda! You are amazing. I am so glad I found you because although I am somewhat organized, I was still floundering and missing photos until after the albums were complete. You have given me a plan and that is what I could not get my head around. My Happy Planner arrives today! Thanks a million!

Hi Lauren, Are you able to create a 'printer friendly' double sided page of the one POP page (eg Keeping track of ...) Using both the front and back of any page would give me so much more space to write in but my POP planner wouldn't be quite so thick.. It would help me no end with tracking my eleven children. Even the Timeline and Project Trackers would be great if they were double sided :) Thanks Lauren Regards Jenni... I'm loving this system thus far.

This is by far the best tutorial I've ever seen on photo organization... I can't wait to get started!. Like you said, it's set up for the scrapbooker, that makes so much sense!!! My children are grown so my albums are very different from yours but I can see so easily how to incorporate some of your organization ideas to meet my needs. Thank you...this must have taken so long to put together. When you're ready to put out a photo editing video I'll be one of the first to do a happy dance!

Lauren... I would LOVE to see a tutorial video on The “Photos” program on the Mac computer. It would be great to see a visual of how you set up folders & subfolders & albums. My photos are all in albums (in “Photos”) but it’s confusing to me. I like your idea of filing them like that.Thanks for all you do. I’m really excited about (finally) organizing my digital as well as my printed photos to have them ready to scrapbook using your method. Jan

Thank you so much Lauren! This video series has been a game changer for me and couldn’t have come at a better time. I have been doing Project Life in various forms since 2012 (I think of those as my “everyday life” albums) but have struggled to tell the more in-depth stories, mostly because of photo disorganization and overwhelm. Your POP system has provided the road map to get organized and reignited my excitement for making scrapbook layouts, especially telling those older stories. You are a wonderful teacher and appreciate your generosity with resources. Thanks again!

WOW Joan, all I can say is wow. Thank you for the encouragement, it is so sweet. I am so so glad that this is all making sense for others besides me, and if I can get you excited about scrapping again, well then it has been a good day! Take care!

WOW that’s a lot to take in. I’m a PC user, so will look and see how it works on that platform. I haven’t liked the interface of Windows Photos, but they are at least all in date order. So thinking out loud, in PC Photos I would select and copy or select and move, to my first “Themed” (for example) folder, then have an album/folder in there for sorted photos to then live in?

Angela Ebert I use google photos and it’s awesome for searching your photos and creating albums. By the way, my sister and daughter both married Ebert’s. :)

Suzanne Lutz I already have most of my digital photos stored up in Google photos & like it alot. Are you saying we create the albums on Google photos like Lauren suggested? I didn’t think we could on that on this platform, but it would mean access from any device and never have to worry about losing data from a PC... thank you for your help. Where do your Eberts live I married an Ebert & we live W Australia 🇦🇺?

I am hoping to share more on how PC users can adapt this, but need to do a little more research. I think as suggested, google photos is a very good alternative as well as the historian program I mentioned.

CraftSomeJoy being outside the US the price of Historian into AUS$ is not an option for me. In Google Photos wondering about setting up albums for LOM and themes, just don’t know whether i can tag there to say eg printed; scrapped; in progress etc.... Love your work!!! I have Stacy Julian’s Photo Freedom book so rereading it again. 💖

Thank you so much for creating these POP Episodes! It is just what I need to help me with my backlog of photos that I want to get into albums. It is truly a blessing. I have one question, can you tell me which tab the digital photo organization tracker goes?

Love all of this!! I would love to see what these finished pages and albums look like. For instance what does Ellen’s about you album look like?? I would assume you have some layouts completed for that category. Do you have gaps to fill in with more layouts??
@CraftSomeJoy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Lea! Yes, I am working on those pages, and will have those to share soon...fingers crossed. For LOM I will have gaps as I gather pics to. tell the story.
