Dave, you are so right about rulebooks. I play more war board games than sports sims, but the issue is the same. I so wish designers would bring play testers in after the game is finalized, to just try playing from the rulebook, before finalizing the rulebook.

I really think you guys should have episodes on your favorite games in each sport. Maybe even break it down by quick play and long play. This would be great episodes for new players to listen to so they could get an idea where to jump into the hobby.

I use a different mic for the podcast version, and run it through some professional processing. Live is just the headset mic, which is professional, but doesn't sound quite as good.
