hey dca there is a clean Amazing Albany Livery without Rust. It is still locked since 2021 and it is not known when it will come out but with mods or a Glich you can get the clean Hudson Hornet without rust I got in on PC with mods

@@DigitalCarAddict I actually have the livery on the Series X, I bought it off of a friend in the LS Car Meet who somehow had it. It also has steelie wheels from Benny's with tire lettering that more closely resembles the lettering in the movie

I also love how Richard Petty was in it, playing himself even though he was under an alias. OH!!! We gotta do Richard Petty from cars at some point! The Gauntlet Classic Custom is nearly perfect.

Fun fact: I actually have the Issi classic and each week I change the color to red, white or blue to represent the mini coopers from the movie, Also did you know that rockstar actually made a game called the Italian job for PlayStation 1 based off the original movie. Very fun game and one of my childhood favorites and I noticed some nods to that game in the cars such as the monroe and a few more other cars in gta online

Aw man, cars. Very nostalgic movie for me, remember watching it over and over and over and over again when I was like 6 or 7, and honestly can still watch it and enjoy it til this day (although that's mainly nostalgia now). Cars is most likely what sparked my interest in vehicles in general, and have has a deep place in my heart. Would love to see the man himself, Lightning McQueen be replicated at some point.

*HEADS UP as of 2/23/23:* If you own this vehicle you cannot get the clean livery of the *”Amazing Albany”* and can only get it by purchasing it at Simeon’s dealership! I’ve checked and the livery doesn’t exist for my own Hermes so I just sold it and bought the one at Simeon’s. Heads up in case everyone is confused when they checked their own version of the hermes!

I just wanted to tell, today, the Albany Hermes appeared in my car workshop! Man I thought it was gonna take A WHILE to get it! And the first thing I do when I saw it, was getting the money really fast to buy it! Man I was really happy to see it! I was really excited!! I don't know how much time it will stay there, but man! Omg, Cars was my full inspiration, as my cover logo had been for years 😅 Absolutely love Doc Hudson and I love all the Cars movies, which honestly made me like racing in the first place, and played racing games ever since I was a child. Sadly, the voice actor died just before Cars 2 😔 Paul Newman died of lung cancer in 2008 :( I'm surprised the Albany livery is nearly accurate, but the rusty details weren't needed, unless it's the Doc Hudson after the crash he had in the first movie 😅 Great build as always, DCA! Just wished the back arches weren't there and still covered the tires. You could go to LSC and merge a brighter colour with this? Pearl would be a bit off, yes. Or just throw a random crew colour for the time being 😅 I'm a big fan of the Cars franchise, and I gotta say this would be the first of many more builds! 👍🏽 Luigi, Fillmore, Sarge, Ramone, Flo, Sally, and Mater the towtruck, are all the possible builds we could do in-game 💪🏽 Hell, if the firetruck as a service vehicle was customisable, you could do Red the firetruck build too 😅 Even Boost, the illegal racer, too. While Cars 2 has more antique European builds, in Cars 3 you could take the arena war route. Last but not least, Lightning McQueen.... just wished we had more nascars in-game that aren't just the Hotring Saber. Overall, awesome video and showcase of the Legendary Doc Hudson, and RIP Paul Newman 🙏🏽

FYI there is a "clean" variant of this livery in the game files it's just unreleased and can't be applied normally. There's a way to "unlock" it by doing car to car merge glitching but not sure if you're into that sort of thing. Great video nonetheless.
