5:42 that roof spoiler is actually an incredibly cool place option because one of the 1952 Gullwing race cars had an identical spoiler with the big mounts on the pillars, I even saw the car myself on the 2022 Mille Miglia. Also the Endurance Warrior and Thousand Mile Hero liveries are both homages to the Mille Miglia 300SLRs. The Drag Monster livery is a homage to a famous 300SL Gullwing which has been prepared and raced at the Bonneville Salt Flats. I just wish these upgrades weren’t exclusive to next-gen🤦🏻‍♂️

4:19 The endurance racer livery number is 277, which looks exactly the same as the real one that Stirling Moss drove to victory in the Mille Miglia (1000 mile race) in 1955, only the number he drove was 722, not 277. Definitely gonna equip that 👍

Watching the old customization video was so worth it for the comparison. The difference in handling/ top speed and acceleration alone is INSANE. Not to mention the new visual mods, which are great. Definitely jealous of anyone that has a next gen console or pc.

I wish all visual updates were on all platforms. While HSW is not present on PC or last gen, I'm fine with it, but I must say that I am extremely disappointed that they didn't add the Chameleon paints to all platforms. That's disappointing imo. Hoping it comes sooner rather than later.

The new liveries and body parts are available on last gen, just not the hsw upgrades. I put the 722 livery on mine today with the roof spoiler and widshield protectors.

Ok, well this is interesting. The Stirling GT not only got the HSW upgrades...but remember what happened to the Kuruma during the Tuners DLC? Yeah, Rockstar made the same mistake with the Stirling GT. So, technically, you could say it's the fastest bulletproof car in the game as of right now.

so to confirm again, when you take the car out of the garage, your top speed will be like 120 to like 126MPH however, if you call your mechanic, your top speed will be at like 140 - 170 mphs. call your mechanic if you wish to have your speedometer to be clocked over 160MPH or something

Isn't this car based on the 1960s SLS and not the SLR? I believe the SLR was a collab with McLaren I remember my cousins friend had the SLR from the 2000s. It looked amazing, but he said it had issues and he sold it not long after I saw it. I was too young to understand what the issues were honestly

The SLS didn't start until 2010. This car is based on the M-B 300 SLR from the 1950s. The car you are thinking of is the M-B SLR McLaren, from 2003, which was named after the 300 SLR.

the problem with wings on older cars is that wings didn't come around until chapparal made their groundbreaking 2E race car in 1966

That simply isn't true. The first known wings on cars was in the 1920s. In the 1950s, Mercedes experimented with a 300SL wing like the ones in this video. The Chapparal was the first adjustable wing to be successful in racing, but it was far from the first car wing.
