I got rid of big bulky gear and got a reloop spin with innofader. I love it 😊

It's definitely a cute but capable controller

Just want to point out that if you are someone playing regularly at parties with about the same crowd and organizer. Like once or twice a month, then 2.5h of music like laid back Luke has prepared will make you sound boring / same and not bringing something new to the dance floor. God forbid if you also play the songs in the same order during your 1.5h or 2h set!! Still i agree that you should know your music and don't have like 6000 songs that you never played!

Mmmm not so sure... I had a residency for 15 years and probably had about 2000 records (the old days...). Agree about not playing the same thing in the same order though. Luke, by the way, refuses to do that.
@Ghazkul6663 ай бұрын
@@digitaldjtips well if someone played for that many years then yes. That 2000 library of music would been top notch music and probably spawn several genres. I approve :)

I bought the Complete DJ course back in November 2023 during one of your sales, but once I heard that the new edition of the course was releasing, I decided to wait to take it. Looking forward to getting into it!

Hold up! The complete dj course is one I do not have, but are you saying there is a new one dropping? I think that’s what Phil said too, but I usually get emails and I don’t have one about that yet.

We'll let you have the new one as soon as it is ready, ie imminently.

Great Seminar Phil. I have the Complete DJ Course which is fantastic. So looking forward to the updated version. As you say each course is for life and I have seen updated training on some of the other courses as well. Proud to be a Digital DJ Tips Student.

This is a really good seminar. I'm reading the second edition of 'Rock The Dancefloor'. This seminar completes some of the tips. I found them very interesting. I totally agree about choosing the track before and then figuring out how to transition. My own experience as a bedroom DJ is that I was stuck because I only learned to DJ with trance music. I did it for a whole year. I love trance, but I was getting bored of doing the same bass swap transition over and over again. The best decision I made was finding a different music genre. Drum and Bass has no intros and outros. I was lost and didn't know what to do with it. I figured out how to transition when I experimented new things. I saw that my mixing skills grew up exponentially in a couple of months. Now I'm planing to force myself to mix in different ways to see how far I can take my DJing. I also uploaded three mixtapes on SoundCloud. This was a great experience even though transitions aren't perfect. My confidence is growing. Thanks for these tips 😊
