1. Portrait size fill the screen of the viewer's phone more than square and vertical, so it is recommended. And the rectangle ensures that the important elements does not cut off. This can be exported from tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. And you will have the text in rows and columns for it to work. Let me know if you don't get it.

The overlay is there to reduce the brightness of the background video, and make your text pop. It's not a must, you may decide to leave it based on your video.

@Digital Scruller Thank you, do you know how to generate exact the same design of font that you already have in your template before generating in bulk? for instance i did give a colour to each word inside the whole text section but bulk generator consider only the colour of the first word and generate the other word with that one colour. Also another issue is that Bulk creator generator all the text in only one line while i wanted to keep my design and have my text in few lines. Thanks

For the color, that's how it works, you may modify it after it generates it. The text box determines how wide the text generated is. So, if the main text box fit the text, the generated texts of the same length as will fit in the text, while longer ones will be in more lines. Reduce your text box of the main text.

Did you mean you are unable to add an overlay? If so, it's easy to do for any of your design. Simply add a rectangle by pressing "R" on your keyboard, and scale it up to cover the target elements. Then reduce the transparency by clicking the shade icon on the upper right corner beside "position". I demonstrated this in my next upcoming video on this topic "creating video with Canva" Stay tuned for that.

Canva disorts everything when I paste my table in from google doc. I don't want to have to type it all in to Canva because it keeps deleting my first letter in every box and it's super frustrating. Anyone know why?
