Hey Bro, Your facial expressions on some of the more lame effects are priceless man.. !! I've got one of these that's been sitting around since the Late 90's.. Might just dig it out and play with it again. Thanks for your demo of the Pros and Cons of this very old vintage Box.

I always wanted to buy this, for some reason it just eluded me and I still think its one of the very best Multi effects processor that has ever been made.

I sooo wanted the RP-1back in the day, but sadly never bought one. I have since then bought a lot of old gear, for instance three of the 90's Digitech rackmounts, mainly to cure my curiosity, but still no RP-1. Since I already have waaay too much stuff it's doubtful I'll ever own one, but It's nice to be able to hear it in action. Those Digitech ultra clean sound shine as always.

If they would release some reverb/delay pedals with these sounds I would def pick em' up :D

cool. I love these old digitech processors. They get alot of shit from snobs but whatever. Looks like somebody's been using yours as an ashtray for 30 years

@bruce11066 жыл бұрын
Restoring Factory Presets This option allows you to restore the contents of the RP-1's memory to the original factory condition. WARNING: Performing this function will destroy all user-programmed data, and all such data will be lost forever! To restore the factory presets, the procedure is as follows: o Scroll to FACTORY PRESET RESTORE in the Utility menu. Press the parameter button. o The display reads ARE YOU SURE? PRESS (up) FOR YES. This is your last chance to change your mind. To restore the factory presets, press the parameter button. To abort the com- mand, press any other key.

All the rp stuff is pretty good still. This one is also a great midi controller. I almost bought an rp3 recently but was already buying a 360xp. Love their multi effects boards and racks.

Remove the plastic footswitch by prying it off. Be careful not to lose the little spring underneath. Clean the white toggle button with alcohol. Snap it all back in. First thing to go on these...

Hello! Nice demo of this ol' good bastard! I have one question... In most modern multieffects processors delay trails are cut off while changing presets. Is this possible to make soft transitions beetwen presets like in GSP2101 with dual SDISK?

Never cared for the presents. But find a clean channel and program it the way you like, the sky's the limit. I had an old Gibson copy playing Sweet child o' mine solo through the rp1 after about 2 days of setting it up it sound just like the studio version. Most of us have heard Sweet child of mine and other solos through just the amp and it sounds dry, dull on exciting just plain sucks. but the rp1 can get you sounding just like the pros of our older rock stars in the studio. This thing has almost everything you need all in one unit.

I think if you tinker enough you can get some cool tones, maybe with external cab impulses. Plus the effects were cool.
