I got one of these new in 98 and I still love it. The tube tones are awesome and the distortion/overdrive is killer through most of my amps. It has stereo outputs so bi-amping is a snap. Run it through two different amps

Sounds like it needs a cab sim when going direct like this.

There are cab sims on this unit. Nothing fancy, mostly just treble cuts. However he used the standard output intended for amps instead of the headphones/di out, so cab sim did not activate.

I had one back in the day, used it in a club/ pub band and got loads of usable sounds from it, I loved it but traded it in. Just bought one from reverb to reminisce lol

I used to run a Sonic Maximizer with one of these, the combo sounded killer. Especially with a Marshall stack.

Still have mine. I pump it through a Peavy 150 watt 1982 Butcher Tube Stack. The crunch will tear your face off !!!

Yep still useing mine through a Peavey 6505+...frkn nasty... Got mine to sound like Mesa boogie...after redoing the settings.. Ill share the user preset if you guys want it...its sounds just like one... About to buy the Tonex one for it..
