Hi there! Thank you so much for the help with fonts! I'm using Version 9 of the Bernina Designer Software on a Bernina 880 Plus. I found a font - Best Valentina - I really liked, but I couldn't figure out how to get it into my software. I'm going to try to do as you instructed, using version 9, and hopefully, it will be close to how you did it in version 8. If you have another video(s) teaching Version 9, please let me know. Thankyou so much. I have to add a name to a towel for a friend. I have bought Thumbnailer and have quite a few fonts and I’m guessing they are in my 🌺V8 software. Inow know where to look for it. Question. When it is downloaded, does it have to be an Art file when I buy it? What backing and floating do I have to do for a towel? Cheers.

I have a video that shows how to embroider in plush fabric. You can use the same technique for towel! You have to download the font as aTTF and install it in your system. Then restart the v8 software. I hope this answers you?

Thank you so much. Your video is direct to the point and easy to follow. Question -I need to resize initials for monogramming. What is the best way to do that? I need the letters to fit inside a circle design I downloaded for a baby gown. I want the center initial to be much taller than the initials on each side of it. I have v8 of Bernina software.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I was JUST looking for a font on that website yesterday to make a cut file with on my Scan N Cut. I never thought about using my Version 8 software to get an image of it. Wonder if there is a way to make it an .svg file for cutting. This is great! Thank you so, so, so much!!!! I love quick and to the point tutorials.

I’m considering doing a combination tutorial. As in use a ScanNCut to cut and then applique embrodiery to do the finishing. I don’t believe the v8 could work out SVG file digitizing though. I have to explore that

Hi I love your video. I have the designer plus version 8 I tried to install it on my WINDOWS 10 desktop. Would not install I tried so many times. Could you please tell me how to install it. Also if I get version 9 that won’t work on windows 11 Will version 9 work on windows 10? How do I get an upgrade if I can’t install it version 8 on my windows 10 computer ? Thank you!

I know version 9 definitely Works on newer windows! You can buy an upgrade for version 9 from your nearest BERNINA store ☺️ if you’ve more isssues…. Let me know. Also you SHOULD be able to use 8 on windows 10, I think. Let me check with BERNINA on that one

I have BERNINA designer plus v8 if I can get it installed on my computer which currently has windows 10 am I correct in assuming that I should NOT UPDATE my computer to windows 11 because designer plus version 8 will NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 11 ONLY VERSION 9 works right? Idk you tell me! Thanks again. All this so I can “EMBROIDER ANY FONT” after watching your col video!

I think with BERNINA you have to do a CUT HOLES feature in the editing tab. Try that?

I believe you need to have a windows parallel in your Mac - I hope BERNINA resolves the incompatibility issue in further versions of the software Im glad you liked it! I am working on more ❤️

Why dont you try downloading the free trail from bernina and check to see if you like it? always try before you commit to bigger purchases :-) i havent worked on master works so i cant comment on that software!

You have to installl a windows parallel software in your MacBook to run this software. Not sure if they’ve corrected this for version 9!
