as a pg who plays random rec when I dont have anyone on to run with the players in random rec are the most frustrating from the sg setting screens and not having any spacing ontop of bigs who dont know positioning its even worse when their an inside that cant even post up or score

Maybe you already know this, but if you come down with a rebound near an opponent, you can hold L2 and most times it will prevent them from stealing the ball. It sucks to not be able to grab a board and immediately pass, but it beats getting ripped.

Bro stop complaining about inside centers every game it’s getting repetitive. Keep in mind if a center sits paint on offense all the time that mean the perimeter has so much space for the team to work for threes. And if someone does drive it’s a simple read every time either go up with it because the opposing center stays on your center or if the opposing center goes to stop your drive just pass it to your center and he has a free dunk or layup. Insides are fine if the team is competent and people know what they’re doing. I will say though if you are making a inside just get like 70 something three point and 78 mid range so you can get silver set shot just so you can shoot if needed if the other center is like a 7’2 defensive beast or something.

Yes If 2k was realistic this wouldn’t be bad but in 2k it’s really easy for a center to play 2 in the paint so it just leads to a clogged paint most times I think there is really no point of a inside considering shooting is semi cheap

U can have an inside big opposite ball side of the block ….. drive the lane throw lobs and pull middys it forces the big to really guard the guard ….especially in pick and roll situations

@@TipToe-c3g I have a build where i play just like this it got 90 midrange and i have 99 three with cap breakers so i get legend shifty I’m just mostly saying with randoms an inside doesn’t work plus the big I play with still has the ability to shoot when need be but he has a 95 standing as well but i just feel like ur more of a threat when u can score in multiple ways not just within 2 feet of the rim

Inside bigs I have seen are fairly solid. Most times, they have problems if the guard play is horrible or no one on the team wants to shoot.

It's pretty impossible to make a true Barkley build. He's barely 6'4 but could shoot from 27', rebound anything in the paint, and was one of the most explosive dunkers in his era. He was also a great passer out of the post. It's funny that he's still widely thought of as 6'6. With a top hat, maybe.

Inside bigs do nothing but get in the way and mess up the flow of the offense and cry about not getting the ball yet they’ll have more shot attempts than rebounds in three quarters

as a inside big i kinda agree, but its just a matter of actually knowing how to play it. i mostly just set screens and get rebounds. Sometimes i can catch the opposite center sleeping and get a easy two. and If my team can shoot it makes my life so much easier
