Did you know that Satta amasa gana was originally "Happy Land" with Carlton and the shoes. and "Satta mas agana" with The Abyssinians was a kind of remake. The first 4 lines of both songs are identical. It is alleged that Clement Dodd, owner of Studio One label and owner of the Masters of the song, declined to release it for some reason. The Abyssinians bought the masters and released it as Satta mas agana. There is a bit of twisted history to this story
