Punjabi is not a foreign language for us. It is ours as well and we are not ashamed of adopting it but the host is most probably an Urdu speaking person who doesn't properly understand Punjabi. And most importantly Urdu is our national language and nation and country always comes before every thing even if we have to sacrifice our own identity or language which we don't have to right now
