What a fine talk! Good work. I am so in love with Benjamin's music.

Legitimately one of the best interviews I've watched

Thank you so much! I have interviewed Ben a ton over an 11 year period - here's a Best Of: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5LRpKWhd66arKc

An interviewer talking with passion which obviously helps cause she knows what the band are and there music from the beginning, not only that she uses the mic perfectly to say her piece and then let Ben answer until he's finished...brilliant interview!

Everyone who's made a positive comment about your interviewing style is right on the money . Idk if it's the fact that you've met a few times prior, but he seems very free and relaxed in your presence. Your questions are specific enough to be interesting, but general enough to allow for some awesome long-form answers. And finally, and perhaps most importantly, YOU DONT INTERRUPT YOUR GUESTS WHEN THEY'RE SPEAKING, which is a horrible trend I've noted in quite a few metal/hardcore interviewers. Keep up the good work!

Cool. Love your interviews! I had no idea that Ben was friends with Mike Patton. Big TDEP fan, a bit sad they're stopping.

You ask good questions and know a lot about the people you are interviewing. Doing one's homework is pretty rare these days. Also, I find your constant fidgeting cute and charming, so don't let anyone give you a hard time about it. :-)

Jeez that Jeff Wood story was wild, need to hear more about that dude. Greg had mentioned some stuff about touring with his gonzo porn band Scat, sounded insane

Can't believe Chris Pennie might not even be playing drums anymore.

He was a huge inspiration for me when I first started playing drums. It really bothers me when super talented people lose passion for their craft. You can tell Ben still cares about the guy as a friend

He is pretty active in a couple of Projects as far as I know Check out „Diagnosis Schizophrenia Vol.1“ if you want to hear him drumming just as insane as usual :D

I once saw Chris Pennie fill in on drums for a Philly hardcore band called All Else Failed. Must have been 2002, 2003, something like that. It was pretty great to see him play in a small venue like that with another one of my favorite hardcore bands.

I hope Chris Pennie gets to play at least one song on one of the New York Shows.

Sorrki he didn't and I don't think he left on good terms with the band. I actually don't think he has played for any band over the past couple of years.
