On Saturday, Dillon Duffy's mum Donna confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that he was safe and with his dad in a hotel in London. "It's truly amazing," Donna told the M.E.N."I am truly relieved and so grateful for everyone's support."
Dillon posted an update in the Facebook
group created to raise awareness about his disappearance. His post was rather lengthy.
In summary, Dillon said he was battling a gambling addiction, anxiety, and depression around the time of
his disappearance.
It is very common for an adult to voluntarily disappear when they're without a wellness plan, preparing them to cope with financial and emotional challenges.
