"You're 17. You don't know what love is" idk why but that rubbed me the wrong way. It's literally normal for people to find their first loves at that age. I can't believe Misbah told Dillon he doesn't know what love is when he's more in-love with Lucas than she is with Zain. He's not going to uproot his own life to be stuck in her relationship drama. I'm glad Dillon stood his ground and told Misbah how much he loves Lucas and that he wasn't leaving him. I understood her concerns at first but the more she keeps opposing to their relationship, the more they're gonna want to be together. For everyone saying Lucas had a little blip of anger, he didn't. The thought of losing Dillon terrified him so that was a normal reaction for him.

Yes, this is a very normal reaction I don't know what they're talking about, I'll act the same way what It is not normal is To remain calm When you see that you will lose the love of your life He is afraid and terrified You can see the panic in their eyes They don't want to be separated from each other Why is this difficult to understand

The solution is so simple too... just remain his legal guardian til he's 18 (i assume that's the age right?) Then if she still feels that way she can move in with Zain. Or hell, have Dillon live there until he's 18 and moves back. Idk why they all have to have extreme reactions like this.😅

To me, Misbah seems rather useless as a guardian. She wants to uproot Dillon before his final school year and send him into the Scottish education system. They do things differently and even have different qualifications. That doesn’t seem like someone looking out for his future.

Relationships are quite known to commonly have their peculiar ups and down. It’s never always rosy. Sadly, the above situation with Dillion and Lucas is one out of myriad versions. Quite frankly, I hope that they both continue to journey through life however it gets with their genuine love for each other helping them get through whatever hurdle that just might come their way. ❤️

@@starsomen Doesn't really prove Mi9sbah's point though. I've known plenty of people who have never had anger management issues or violent tendencies, get angry when the person they love, tells them with very short notice, that they have to break up, because they're moving to another country. I've got a roommate who went through a month of rage and a year of depression because the women he dumped him to move to another city in the same state. No body calmly goes through getting dumped without warning, unless they had no feelings in the relationship to begin with, and were already ready for it to end. Lucas panicked, thought he was getting dumped without notice, and yeah he got angry. I'd get angry too, and I've only hit someone once in my life, and it was self defense against a straight homophobe who thought it was cool to try and bash the gay kid in school back in the 90's. I got outnumbered, I ended up with a broken arm, but at least I fought back, so no regrets there. But Lucas is already losing his dad to prison. Of course he'd have a second of feeling rage, at the thought of being ditched without much warning by Dillon as well. He didn't go off the handle however, and he handled it rather well all things considered for a teenage boy, or even an adult.

Unpopular but necessary opinion: Dillon and Lucas don’t need to be together. Dillon like so many others want to have rose colored glasses and convince himself that everything with Lucas will be okay. It won’t. So far there has been nothing done to heal Lucas and his dad is going to prison soon and he’ll be left with James. That’s going to be a roller coaster of emotions and finding a new dynamic with him and Leah. Between Lucas and James, he could be hell. Someone will get triggered. I know James called about getting therapy when his sister was sick but I’m not sure he stuck with it because he was horrible. And if they get triggered by something, Dillon will get caught up in it. Misbah and Zain’s relationship is really irrelevant. She’s worried. I would be too.

I love when parents (guardians) simply make life changing decisions like moving and expect teens to just be cool with it. It’s one thing to decide to move when you have a 6 year old. But a 16 year old? 🤷‍♂️

Actually, most people never figure out what love is. In my church, we teach the Holy Spirit looks like a candle-Flame that appears in seven colors. It is the same energy Jesus used to raise the dead and gave his disciples their powers on Pentecost-Day. It doesn't matter if you are 20 or 80. The information simply wasn't available until just 3 decades ago. Everything else on this planet is pure animal-driven instinct.
