@Jesse i know bro cod is light-years behind, games like csgo were actually built to be competitive and be esports since the start, and cod is now just starting to scratch yhe surface of all of that and belive it or not, alot of investors think cdl is going to be huge in the future, cod has done its growing casually, the game is built for casuals, it was never meant to be competitive or an esport. What happened is you had your pioneers like hastro, h3cz, etc etc come along with alot of players who saw much more in cod so they hosted their own events etc etc until now, the cdl, where people like Gary vee, Joanna ferries, Kevin durant, multiple people in the NHL (mitch marner, phil Kessel, etc) are investing in this. (If you don't know Gary vee he's fucking awesome, look him up, wherever he predicts success it always happens, he owns the Minnesota rokkr). Anyways thats obvously the back story of cod very condensed. Call of duty was built for casuals and even the devs of last year said they dont like us competitive players, we complain to much. Theres a clear discrepancy on how the comp players and devs look at call of duty, especially infinity ward, they are faded af, trey arc listens alot I love them even if their game is ass because they're always fixing things and pros are literally working with them. Its changing, you'll see in the next 5 to 10 years a huge shift in cod, thats my prediction, its not a smart one, its too easy to make. Any one with a brain knows cod comp is going to get much bigger in the future, covid fucked alot of shit up, just know its going to get alot better
