In today's augmented reality game video I show you how we can use reticles to place AR objects (cars and targets) while keeping track of game missions with scriptable objects.
Components covered today:
Player Mission Manager (which is responsible for keeping track of missions including reading and writing)
Player Mission scriptable object, Item Type, placement state, priority, and minimum distance
In the next video we will work on adding minimum distance calculation as well as updates to AR Replacement Reticle for visualizing when is valid or not valid to place a target based on minimum distance.
