*Updates:* (11/30/2021): Annoyingly, KZbin has removed the public dislike count. If you'd like to see the dislike count on this video, I suggest installing the 'Return KZbin Dislike' extension (Firefox, Chrome, Edge). I'd like to correct a type I made in the credits, I meant to put ADVBRITE in place of ADVSPEED. ADVSPEED is for adjusting the wait states of your calculator, I made a separate video about that a while ago. Sorry for the confusion!

would have liked to hear more about the photoresistors and how to do that (and why) shown at the end of the video.. we have that electronics kit too (the snap circuits) but unsure how it connects to the calculator or why you would want to (what could it do?) and also I can't remember if the photoresistor is a part that comes with the kit (if we already have it) or if it would need purchased separately

I don't know where the schematic is anymore unfortunately. All the parts came from a jumbo snap circuits box. You connect it to the calculator by just taping the photo resistor to the screen. I used it just for fun to play music. You can also use it as a Morse code speaker!

I'm happy to know that I wasn't the only one to use their calculator as a flashlight

I downloaded it it, but one of the four files says “ReadMe” so the program doesn’t work at all for me once it’s downloaded to my calculator
@TheLastMillennial3 жыл бұрын
You only need to send the .8xp files, not the Readme. Exactly what calculator do you have? What error are you getting?
@ohk_jonathan3 жыл бұрын
@@TheLastMillennial I only sent the .8xp files now and it works with my 5.1.0 calc, but it doesn’t work with my 5.6.1. I tried it through artiface, but the program is not showing up.

TI removed the ability to easily run Assembly programs. You have to jailbreak the calculator and install ASMHOOK to get this to work now: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5OlYY17mbZkqNU

Whenever i download and run the program, it breaks my ti basic programs, Basically whenever a lowercase “r” shows up it instead says “SetBrightness (Set)” (or something like that) instead of the r. It does this for all my ti basic programs, but none of my ice/asm/c programs. I think its because it gave me the ability to write lowercase letters (because after i installed it, i was able to, then once i uninstalled it, i suddenly couldnt). Is there a fix for this?

This sounds more like a bug with ice than my program, it just happened to be the only one affected. I've never had this happen to anyone else before so I'm not quite sure how to help you. Maybe try reinstalling my program and ice.
@bappp04 жыл бұрын
@@TheLastMillennial i did just install ice... i already reinstalled your program so I’ll reinstall ice
@TheLastMillennial4 жыл бұрын
Oh I remember this issue now, it's just the way ICE works, all Lowercase r's will turn into that command.
@bappp04 жыл бұрын
@@TheLastMillennial but then how come when i uninstalled your program it worked? And how was i able to make lowercase r’s in the first place (that functionality was also gone when i uninstalled it)
@bappp04 жыл бұрын
@@TheLastMillennial I just uninstalled ice and your program, ram reset, and reinstalled yours again. same bug.
