vac or ow ban? I’ve been ow banned back in csgo once but appealed it and got unbanned within a few days. It happened to some of my mates too at some point but never heard of someone falsely getting vac banned

@@Hassprediger IT was pretty weird. I got a gameban first for 7 days. After that i got a Perm vac Ban. Normally these Game bans are only for Games which has nothing to do with valve.

@@kriegergolem Not true. You get a game ban when VAC doesn't know what cheat you were using, and a VAC ban otherwise. A game ban will turn into a VAC ban if VAC gets the signature for the cheat used.

the only thing that gets them banned (at least for a short time) is by reporting them for griefing. After enough reports they get an auto-cooldown for 1 day which increases by 1 day for every grief ban they get. they also get them quicker after they already got one. once they get to like 10 days lenght their premier rank will expire every time before they can play again. that also forces them to waste more money to buy new accs to play on during that time.
