Definitely going to miss Alicization even if it had its ups and downs. It’s my favorite sao arc as of now and this cover is a great farewell gift..

Inside scoop from a friend of mine, another SAO manga is being worked on and more than likely it'll get adapted into the next arc in SAO, something about a unity ring or whatnot, so Kirito's adventure might not be done yet

It is very possible for it to get an adaptation after its ending, but the light novel is still being written and the writer is working on many projects at once so I don't see an adaptation until 2027 at the earliest.

This latest season of SAO has been one hell of a journey, and your amazing cover of it's opening gave me all the feelz. And now it's setting in that it's over, at least until the Progressive anime (which I am SO HYPE for) starts. Amazing work as always!!

@@DimaLancaster I'm not sure. I don't think there was a release date in the short trailer we got. I'd say that's a safe bet though, with how much money SAO makes (definitely one of the most popular anime out there), no way the anime producers would wanna take too much time off. Going back to the Aincrad arc with Alicization-level animation is gonna be an amazing experience, seeing as how SAO was one of my first anime I watched when I was 14. I've read the light novels and they are fantastic reads.

As I remember, in Sati Akura's cover of this song, there's a words like «let me see the real colour of the soul», and here's a words about «my soul». Like two persons talking with each other. I'm not sure it was planned from the start, but understanding this - very interesting.
