DIMAPUR CONVERTS NEW MARKET INTO DUMPING SITE.

Dumping of Garbage in an inappropriate site is not a new thing for the people of Dimapur. In this regard, NLTV went on a ground report and witnessed New Market which is one of the busiest Market in Dimapur, where thousands of public and people from different districts and states too come for shopping and for their professional purposes. However, huge amount of garbage were seen being dumped by the public and many shop owners. While interacting with the vendors, they stated that the concerned authority comes regularly and picks the garbage early in the morning, but since it is Eid today, they didn’t come to collect the garbage, leaving the town ugly and in an unhygienic condition.
