The Singer 2017 version is probably the most enjoyable to watch, as there's a strong interplay with the audience, and you can see the faces of his gobsmacked fellow competitors. He plays piano at the start as well. Of course, Dimash doesn't own the rights to that, so he couldn't post it on his channel.

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific parce. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music composition and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer of this new version. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. Thank you for preferring his channel. But this song is an exception😅. I love this song and it's a good performance. But the best performance of Adagio is the one from The Singer competition 2017 in China and he also plays the piano there. There is no version which is better than this one. In this version Dimash takes this song to another level. A really beautiful song❤️. A song that Lara Fabian (a Belgian-Canadian singer) has already sung and also written the lyrics for. Dimash has always been a great admirer of Lara. But Dimash takes this song to another level. Every time, I see this performance I forget to breathe and then burst into tears. The emotions that Dimash sends out with this performance literally hit me physically every time🤯. And you can see that I’m not the only one. It speaks for itself that this performance leads to such emotions as that of this woman from the jury and even makes jury members cry. I love his outfit with his blue suit and white shoes. If you watch several videos of him, you will see that he often falls on his knees during many of his performances. So a Dear gave him knee pads as a gift. I don’t think he wore them on stage though. I'm sure others will tell you the version from The Singer where he's wearing a turquoise suit is better (he shows more emotion), but I love both. Not the best version, something was wrong with his mic in this performance. Hands down THE greatest performance by any artist of any song of all time is Dimash’s The Singer performance of Adagio from 2017. I would suggest you do that one, it’s incredible!

Falling onto his knees is not so painful for him like you think - he is also in his private time a consumed martial arts fighter. He only stopped to train on a daily basis and attend to big fights because of the risk of injuries, but he knows to fall without pain and/or filtering out remaing pain - that are the 1st steps in every martial arts training. Dimash can sing in 14 languages, so far. Adagio is not a persons name, it means 'slowly." He sang this in 2017 at the "I Am Singer" contest in China, although he sings it slightly different here. In his song "Stranger" he holds the last note for 22 seconds.

I'm always happy to see you react to Dimash but sorry you didn't choose the version from 2017's, "I Am Singer," show performed in China. This version is fine, but the 2017 version is arguably one of the most spectacular vocal performances, from anyone, ever. If there is ever a doubt about which version of a particular song to react to, I think you can never go wrong by first reacting to the one that has the most views.

Hi, Carmen. It's such a pleasure watching you as you react to Dimash. All good though because Dimash is truly such a great singer with the kind of stage presence that is not to be missed. He draws one's attention from the beginning, to remain until the very end. Imagine what your response would be if you had to attend one of his shows live. I am sure that will be so much more emotional and intense. I have been quiet on your channel for a few weeks now but with good reason. I was trying to find out more about one Dimash's main attractions earlier in his career...Lara Fabian. I honestly don't want to spoil it for you, but would rather suggest or stronger still, recommend that you explore this avenue and see for yourself... And by the way, Lara Fabian is flemish (real name Lara Crokaert 😀) but has lived in the french side of Belgium. She understands perfectly dutch, speaks it a bit and has performed this song on dutch tv or in concerts held in netherlands.
