I know it's been a couple of weeks since our last upload, but we are back! This time we are reacting to DIMASH's third performance on 'The World's Best'. What can we say? As a huge fan of Dimash, i am terribly upset the way he was being treated. Before he sign the contract he did asked if he will be competing with kids because his culture and beliefs does not allow him to do that and guess what, TWB lied to him and told him he will not be competing with kids. It was just before the final when he met Daneliya (1 of the kid he will be competing) at backstage and that was when he got to know that he will be going against 2 kids. That triggered Dimash to make the sudden decision to quit this BS show. Dimash doesn't need TWB to promote himself, however it was TWB who need him desperately to raise their viewing rating. I fully support his decision to leave this show

How do you know of the contract? On the first episode a young trio of singers opened the show. Why didn't he quit then? Oh don't give me "the show would sue him." If that were so they would do it now.

@@the1stJZ Because he didn't see their performance. This show is very weird. How can possibly they think it's a good idea not allow each contestant to communicate at all. You should check out what judges(not freaking American ones) on the wall say about what really happened. They edited so that it looked like Dimash is leaving like a diva. He specifically told the American judges that not competing against the kids was what he asked and checked and TWB said he wouldn't.

How dare RuPaul talked to Dimash that way! He should’ve been thankful and honored that Dimash was there in the first place. Dimash was way too much for that show. What disturbs me the most is he literally said it's against his culture's beliefs, and the Kazakh judge also backed him up on that point and they still berated him like that as if respecting the show's rules was more important than respecting an entire country's culture. They showed zero respect for the other country's values despite calling themselves the "World's Best."

That's exactly my biggest issue with all this as well. Ru Paul calling his decision "B.S." is basically calling their culture's values and tradition "BS". That was so disrespectful. You invited these people...and then berate them for their culture? I've never seen such an unprofessional display. It was shameful and embarassing.

I agree. But it is not just culture. It is ethics and morals that are the foundation of human life. Adults do not compete with kids. I will not try to win over a kid in whatever I do. I will let a kid win and be encouraged. Adults nurture kids to grow in the right way. This is what US is loosing!

There is a video on youtube where 2 ladies who were in the audience of TWB talk about what actually happened. Seems that the judges said even worse things to him than what was shown. First the children performed. Then Dimash came out and said he is quitting, then the judges berated him, then the producers wanted him to sing, so he sang the full song, and put all the intensity of his feeling into his performance. Then the judges berated him again. When Ru said "You knew what you were getting into" Dimash responded that he asked if he would be required to compete with children before he signed. (Dimash did not know who else was in the competition and only found out about the children the day he was supposed to compete with them.) Then months later editors cut up all the footage and made the song really short and made it seem like he sang first and then quit after. They also cut the part where he was lied to about competing against the children. Faith Hill didn't quite get what Dimash said - he would have been happy to compete against Adele or Whitney, in fact he was hoping for higher caliber opponents, not kids.

we shouldn't believe everything we see on TV. It is all highly edited for shock value or their gain. Someone who was at the taping of the show stated that Dimash had enquired before the competition began whether there would be children competing and was told no. According to the person who was at the taping, When RuPaul said to dimash “you knew what you were getting into”, Dimash responded by saying “I respectfully remind that when I signed up, I asked whether I would be competing against children and I was told that I wouldn’t. That was a precondition for me to agree to participate in this competition. This is my favorite stage and my favorite audience. It was an honor to have been able to perform here for you.” And of courseTWB chose not to air this part T^T Also, he spoke to the judges and withdrew from the competition before he sang (not after as shown on CBS). Danileya also says the competitors were forbidden to talk to each other or watch the other competitors so she and Dimash did not know the other was one the show!!! Here is a quote from an interview with Daniliya "The format of the show is such that we were forbidden to talk to each other, to share information. Also, we could not see the performances. And now, when I watch the show, I just wonder what kind of cool things the people we saw in the dressing rooms and corridors I realized that the competition is very strong. Already near the end of the show I was surprised to learn that Dimash was also involved in this project. Because under the terms of the contract we could not share information and communicate, neither did he know that I was participating in project, and neither. When we met, we experienced Wali about the same emotions at the same time we were happy to see each other, but were a little upset that we have to compete, "-. the singer said. (Daneliya speaking. If you look at your video Dimash his ear piece is attached to his lapel when he says he wants to step aside. When Faith starts to talk he is removing his ear piece. They were filmed at 2 different times. Let’s also be real Faith never went on stage after Whitney Houston. They chopped up his song badly. He did what he believed in and honoured his culture and country. One has to respect that. Lovely reaction as always.

I totally agree and I give Dimash 5 thumbs. I want to comment on that statement of him knowing what he was getting into the fact is the show knew what he wanted and did not want so they did not keep their end he did. They took him for granted. Before the finals he stated that where he's from they do not interfere with the children's future so for him he would be doing just that so Dimash followed his heart. Who the he'll cares what anybody think it's not like the give us thrill of our life as for the world's best show they blew it because no matter what their attitude towards Dimash should've been worlds best too and it wasn't Dimash is way too good for them Simon would not have responded that way I believe he would have clapped really load without saying a word. Hi Cato and Agnes! I read that the show put Dimash between a rock and a hard place, and he had no choice but to leave to preserve his dignity and personality, and also not shatter the dreams of the kids he was competing against. If he remained in the competition and won, which was very likely, people would have been saying "Oh yeah, big winner. Right. After competing against children. How easy was that for you? BTW, isn't that against your culture, and yourself as well because you donate to underprivileged musically talented children, then turn around and crush their dreams?" He's such a moral person that he couldn't live with himself if he stooped to such a level. I think RuPaul and Faith Hill didn't do any research on Dimash to gain a full appreciation of whom they were dealing with. One glance at his Wikipedia page would have shown that he outclassed them in every way imaginable and they would have treated him with a lot more respect. Instead, I think they were judging him based on his inability to speak English so they patronized him and acted like they were better than he is.

They really did put him in a difficult situation and it must have been really hard to come to that decision, but I am very glad that he did and as you said, walked away with his dignity and morals intact as opposed to just see it through for the sake of it! I feel like the judges and especially RuPaul was more afraid of what him leaving would do to the show and to the ratings and popularity of it rather than the fact that he made this decision for himself. The whole show turned out to be very different from what I initially thought it would be like and it just looked very rushed and not very thought through when watching their choices of editing. It seemed it was more about the show and less about the talents on it and I'm sure it turned out to be very different than Dimash had thought it would be like as well! It's a good thing that this is all over and we can just be excited about the future of his career and what he will do next!😊😀

I love you guys reaction. Dimash is too big for this world. This competition is not needed for him. Last time this earth had someone who could sang 7octaves was in late 1600's name was Farinelli. We only get one of these guys in every 600 or more years on earth. We are all lucky to even witness him singing. I personally think that Dimash is not for people who is ignorant about his talent and work ethic. There is only one in the world! His artistry can not be measured by anyone or anything.

Хотелось бы посмотреть оригинал выступления. Насколько известно от находившихся в тот момент в зале зрителей, а там были и из фангруппы сша, запись кроме исполнения была урезана. Большая часть выброшена, оставшиеся куски переставлены местами для того, чтобы Димаша выставить в другом свете. Конечно, если это видео показать, то взрыв был бы очень сильный. Но это было бы честно. Организаторы первыми нарушили Договор, поставив Димаша на конкурс с детьми, хотя было оговорено, что этого не будет!!

A lot of the drama in the stage had been edited like Dimash's response to Ru Paul " you know what you are getting into". I respectfully remind you that I asked if there were kids competing because I don't compete with children". Cato, you may want to listen to the info given by 2 members of the TWB show audience by Patrice Gruillon and Anita what really happened in the show. Based upon the info shared by these 2 ladies, the American judges berated Dimash but the audience was on the side of Dimash. Thank you Cato.

Except after the very 1st act which were a singing trio of children Dimash knew he was going against kids. Putting aside the diatribe. On a ridiculous show like WB trying trying to be AGT/BGT and failing I was introduced to Dimash the ONLY act worthy to be on that stage. Oh the rigged act puppeteer. She called "random" people. She does the voices but how did these people know when to act/move exactly like they were supposed to?

@@the1stJZ You are wrong. All the contestants were not allowed to know who the contestants were neither they were allowed to watch the performances based upon their contracts. So he did not know anything about who were in the competition and based upon his response to Ru Paul, he was unaware that there were kids and he made sure the show knew that he does not compete with kids and that was the reason why he signed into the show. The only time he found out about it was during the semi final when he ran into Danelya in the back stage and both of them did not realize they were both in the show and competing each other.

Hi Guys, yeah we were all shocked, it is well documented that he would have easily won this. Like a comment below when Ru Paul accused him of knowing what he was getting into (btw, Did you see the death stare from Dimash) he did defend himself saying "with respect I disagree" and explained how he asked about children because he said he would not compete against children, then what did they do put him in the championship final up against a 12yr old and a 13yr old, so he stuck to his guns and bowed out with grace and dignity which is more than can be said for the two judges who disrespected him. I'm glad he pulled out of this shit circus ...the 13yr old boy who Dimash stepped down for went on to win.👋👋👋👋😊

It was a major shock and the judges was just in disbelief as well! I feel like that they were more scared of what him leaving would do to the show and the ratings rather than just the fact that he made the decision for himself! I definitely noticed the death stare and I have to say that I'm impressed that he was able to contain himself- I definitely wouldn't have been able to be so calm and collected about it! I very much agree with you- I think he made the right decision and at the right time. I think it turned out to be completely different for him than what he had expected it to be for sure! Dimash will continue to grow his career and also as a person, so it was so gracious of him to let somebody else get the chance!☺️😀

@@catotnnessen8554 Thanks for reply Cato, apparently the show from the "get go" was geared around TNT boys and Dimash both being the top trending acts on social media and they were adamant in getting them signed up for their veiwing figures. Dimash isnt the sort of person to let people down but he just wasnt comfortable with the situation.When you look at all the reactors vids and the comments on them there are thousands and thousands all agreeing that he did the right thing, a situation that as probably done more for him than taking the title, which everyone thinks he would have. Dimash has said that he mentors young talent as the Kazakh ambassador for youth culture, he judges childrens talent shows, criticises and advises them so how could he possibly compete against them. 👍👍👍

The producers apparently lied to Dimash about children being involved. They edited out so much from this. They not only butchered Dimash's performance, they cut out his response to (classless) Rupaul which was that he did not know about the kids and if he did he would not have signed on. This show turned out to be a succession of manipulations and deceit. The ratings were horrible, so I doubt it will get a second chance. Thankfully, the American audience saw enough of Dimash to know what a talented performer he truly is. Thanks for your reaction, guys!!!

I really didn't know that they had edited so much out and it's a shame that they decided to twist the whole situation like that! I agree with you- I doubt it'll get picked up again and as you said, at least. he got to show what he's all about and was introduced to the American market! I hardly think that there is any need to worry about the fortunes of Dimash Qudaibergen!! 1) His UNIQUE talent will take him a long way internationally and 2) His family belongs to the Intelligencia of Kazakstan and are therefore priviledged. Furthermore, he has already achieved cult status in China, Russia and most of Asia. It will take very little time for him to establish himself in the English speaking world. But his Repetoire of English language songs would have to increase!!

I love Dimash's talent. He used the show to introduced himself to America. Is it ego yes and no. Using this as off-Broadway performance to get to the big stage was ego. Leaving was NOT ego. He knew he would win. So Dimash left. However when you tube for vids you'll see he's a pro. Dimash has been on talent shows before. He's had a number of shows. So this proves he doesn't need the money.

This shows what a beautiful soul he has. I am not expecting all the people to understand his gesture. It's a matter of culture and education. First of all, this should be seen as a show providing memorable moments and not as a competition though it is defined this way. Competitions have led more to destruction (of environment, , of characters, of education of whatever we want) than to improving quality during the human history. How about harmony and cooperation? This is the message Dimash wanted to send. So, let's enjoy the show and don't let heavy words coming out, like that judge did. for no reason, after all. Life is not just rules, rules are more than questionable, especially because they are done by people. I have only one regret, that Dimash didn't performed "The Diva Dance" to blow everybody away (in the good sense). Respects for the show man, he has good sense and understood what was really going on.

Very simply put: TWB lied to him. Dimash didn't want to compete against children and he asked about it before committing to the show because it is in his culture. He and others sang full songs, which got chopped up for television. They even chopped up his response to Ru Paul. Responders who were in the audience said that Dimash explained that before he joined the competition he asked if there were any children involved. In his culture, adults do not compete against children. They promote children and give them opportunities. He didn't know that he was competing against children until it was his turn. Also, they say he dropped out first, then after the rude way he was treated, he then performed and gave his all before leaving.

I love your reactions but almost didn't watch this one as I don't want to see anything to do with TWB. The only disrespect was this show to Dimash and the other talents. Dimash has cultural beliefs and a show that wanted to showcase talents from other countries should be sensitive to those beliefs. I am glad this is done. Dimash leaving TWB is great because it shows us the measure of how much he is truly serious about not just succeeding but also how he can succeed on the terms he set for himself specially with due consideration to his personal morals and beliefs. Skill wise we all know that he has nothing more to prove. This is a man who is worthy of love, respect and admiration. He knows that whoever he was competing with would need the win more than he ever will and it is great to see him stay true to his personal beliefs even if some self important "judges" ego would be trampled. Good to see true talent say no thank you to these self imposed gate keepers.

Hi Cato and Agnes! Im extremely disappointed and embarrassed about how The Worlds Best disrespected Dimash and questioned his character! There is a video released by Patrice Grullion on KZbin that shows her and another woman, they were in the audience of the show, and they literally explain in detail how it all went down and how the show horribly edited the show to make Dimash look like he didn't know what he was doing. *INFO* : Thanks to two American women who were at the show in October : we know now that this video does not reflect really how things happen. In fact, Dimash sung after the children, then he told the juges he was quitting BEFORE singing so he would not be noted, and not after like this video wants us to believe. which shows how a great professional he is to have given such wonderful performance (largely cutted here) even after having been insulted by the three juges. He also answered to the juges that he did asked BEFORE coming to this show if children would be in the competition, and as you can see, this part is cutted too.

There’s a video of two women who were at this show and they said the performances were chopped up and that Dimash actually performed after his speech. And that Dimash mentioned (which was cut) that he made it known that he would not compete against children and he was assured that there would be no children. Apparently the contestants don’t even know who else is competing as everyone is kept isolated from each other. But then Dimash found out that a12 year old girl from Kazakhstan was in the final, plus the young pianist who won. Expecting Dimash with 20 years of training to compete against children would be like Pavarotti competing against 1st year opera students!! How could Dimash enjoy a win against children. The fact that we’ve heard nothing about WB suing Dimash for quitting makes me think they knew that they were in the wrong. Anyway, I enjoy your reactions.

Dimash did asked the questions whether he will be competing with kids in this competition before he sign up. They told him he won't have to compete with kids. So who is disrespecting who here. Hi Cato and Agnes, thank you for your reaction! What you don't know is that TWB lied to Dimash, before he stepped in the show. The video what TWB have aired is badly edited. Dimash gave his statement that he quit, BEFORE he sang. TWB showed differently for their own benefit. Guess what, there are more coming out what really happened. When Ru Paul said "you know what you were getting in too", Dimash answered: "I asked the question before I signed in if there were children and if I must compete with them. That's against my culture." That part they didn't show on TV, that was before Ru Paul said: "BS..BS". They cut it out. Dimash could not compete with children, because it's against his culture. The children are the future, that is how Dimash is grown up with. So TWB LIED to him. Very disrespectful! TWB changed the rules during the show and let children compete with adults. About the fact that you see that Drew doesn't say much, is also not true. All the three judges were biasing Dimash. Before and after he sang. But TWB tried to made the vid in their benefits. Shameful!! What Faith Hill said was not what Dimash ment. He compete with children, she didn't compete with children but sang on stage after celebrities like Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. That's different. They didn't get it what Dimash felt. What do you think what will happen if Dimash compete with children what is against his culture, then he goes back to KZ. I think you can imagine what will happen. The jury was very upset, because they knew the potentional winner left. They used Dimash for the ratings and thought he will go on for the money and fame. I really didn't realise that they edited the show to that extent and even twisted it to make it seem like something it wasn't! I'm in general quite disappointed with the show and thought they would give the contestants much more respect than they have done. It's almost like they made it only about the show and not the actual talents that were competing in it! I really think that I made the right decision after having read all the information I wasn't aware of in the first place and I'm quite happy that it's over to be honest. Now he can focus on what he really want to focus on and continue with his career and have his integrity and morals intact. I'm very excited to see what's to come from him in the future- I'm sure there will be a lot of great projects and performances in store for us in the future!
