This is a splendid fancam by Dia Linwen דיה לינוון , of Dimash singing the Armenian folk song "Sareri Hovin Mernem" ("I`ll die for the wind of the mountains"), in his concert in Yerevan in 2023, as a symbol of gratitude towards his Armenian fans.

What really strikes me about this - aside from the beauty of Dimash’s vocals and the song - is the complete silence from the audience. Often you hear people coughing or whispering or even talking (!), but here there is absolute silence during the performance. A Florida Dear.

I was in the audience and no one NO ONE expected him to sing THIS song in Armenian, we had our hopes and wishes that he would sing in Armenian but this very song is quite difficult and very popular and loved by Armenians and when he started the crowd got wild for a moment then everyone was silent to enjoy this amazing performance. BTW, if I’m not mistaken he received the longest applauses for this performance the whole audience was standing and applauding in ecstasy.

Because it's not the USA.... in Asia, people have manners... they know when to scream, applause, listen, or be silent and let the music takes you to n it nirvana..... Here in the USA, our American people are animals....we lack of civilized manners..... you can fund evidence of this on tik-tok, Instagram, KZbin, etc.... you're in Florida, you probably have seen a tons of uncivilized manners from the spring breakers who flock to your stats every year....

Being of Armenian origin, this song is very well known to me and millions of Armenians around the world. I love Dimash tribute with his golden voice. This is a great pleasure. Thank you Dimash... you are a wonderful human being with a golden heart and mission on planet Earth. Love you.

Dimash understands that Armenian people are part of the great Soviet Union family..... We wants to show the world what beautiful songs different parts of Soviet Union have...... A song is a song....one doesn't have to understand the words to feel the pain, sorrow, lonesome, and the longing to return home in this song..... Armenian people are nice and beautiful people....they don't say much but they are very fun to be around with...... we have so many Armenian people here in CALIFORNIA....I once dated a very handsome and tall Armenian guy from Yerevan... he worked at the gas station car wash that belong to an Armenian family... I usually took my car to get it wash there, and that's how we met... he liked boxing, so he used to take me with him to his gym to watch him practice.... He doesn't speak much English but we still loved each other.... He's here in CALIFORNIA to attend college and learn English a year... after he finished his program, he went back to Armenia.... Best boy friend....

@@Aikynbreusov Soviet Union? God forbid! Dimash celebrates Kazakhstan's independence from the Soviet Union every year and sings songs about it. He treats every people as an independent people. Yes, they have some common history and language, but they are not Soviet union any longer. I was born in the Soviet Union (Russia) but fortunately I ran away from there and then it fell apart. The Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore and Dimash values highly the independence of his people from that oppressor, who wants and tries to enslave its neighboring countries yet again.

Dimash Sareri Hovin Mernem from Zulal, ill die for the wind of the mountans is a melancholy Armenian folk song that speaks of a deep sorrow and longing for a lost love. The lyrics express a desire to die and join the loved one in the afterlife as it seems impossible to go on living without them. The chorus "Hovin mernem" and "Poyin mernem" repeated throughout the song means "I shall die of sorrow" and "I shall die of pain" respectively. In the first stanza, the singer says that they will die of grief because their love is gone. In the second stanza, the singer states that they will die of pain because their hearts are broken. The third stanza tells of the singer seeing their love in their dreams and not being able to forget them, which only increases their suffering.
