This song even had my 57 year old big brother crying when I showed him.. And he's a policeofficer (as am I)! About this show... All of the other contestants are famous, award winning performers, and are invited to be on the show. Nothing like this show in America. The 500 member audience are the judges. They vote after the show. Rehearsals are done separately, so no one has heard the song before the show, and you get truly amazed reactions from the other contestants in the green room. Dimash became close friends with several of them, and even performed with them in other venues. They called him Little Brother. Recently, Dimash made a video stating that he is now too old to be a Little Brother, so he asked them to call him something else . It reminded me of when Dimash first became popular in '17, All of us Moms and Grandmas were constantly calling him Adorable. He got a little older and asked if we would not do that anymore. Oh, the problems of being loved. We can't help ourselves and as if he is truly our own blood, take extreme pride in his accomplishments

This song is very popular in China. The version based on a true story.. very touching: It is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920-2014), a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. In 1993, Jacky Cheung adapted the Japanese song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn. The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin and is about autumn, farewell, sadness ... but also about accepting the unchangeable. I love this performance - such a beautiful, sensitive performance by Dimash. FYI Chinese music shows generally have incredible production values - first class musicians, singers, cameramen, technicians, directors and producers. This show - I Am Singer (The Singer) - is no exception. Every competitor is showcased and given support to present their best. He just sang this in Japanese at tokyo jazz festival Ikanaide (need to listen. 2 months old). You will find that every song has different versions or settings. His parents are both famous singers in his country. Daybreak is another emotional song. Autumn Strong/Ikanaide and Daybreak have back stories that are heartbreaking. This is a professional singer competition in China. You might say it is THE competition. And not just professional, but the top professional singers. Full orchestra plus special ethnic instruments, such as some of those cool Chinese flutes. A full light show and as you noted, a professional camera crew. It was really a big deal that Dimash got a wildcard entry due to one of the producers seeing him compete in one of the Russian festivals/competitions.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. This was episode 4 from the Chinese competion "Singer "(also called "I am a singer") from 2017. The hearbeats starts every contestens songs every time! The guy you talked about at the end is a member of the rock group "Lions". They gor really good friends with Dimash and they have sung togheter after this to. The singer in the band Jam Hsiao told the outhers that he thought Dimash looked a bit like "Terry Lin" a vell known artist in China. They kinda do and they also have some sort of same voices. Terry came in the contest at episode 5!!! Terry loved Dimash and told him he had lovely face perfect tecknik and lovley voice!!! Dimash told terry he was his favorit artist. In episode 9 Dimash started calling him "father" or "dad". Thats the highest praise of respekt he could give him as a Kazakh!!! They still are that close. They sing Dimash own song "Unforgettible day" 2 times as a duet as I know about! Dimash in Kazakh and Terry in Chinese!!! First time in Terrys schow in China and Dimash hadent sleept for 20 houers and came right from the plain change clothes and walked out on stage during the song!!! They hadent reahearsed!! The secound time was in Jackie Changs film festival. Even Jackie was amased!!!! Dimash got to meat Jacki during the competion. Dimash have know sung a song in Jackies last film!!!! This song was a major hit in China and Japan a few decades ago. Dimash had to learn this song in one week for the show and from Chinese speakers, his accent was flawless, which explains the audience being in tears. He recently performed the same song (Ikanaide) in Japanese for the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival and same, Japanese speakers were dumbfounded by the perfection of his Japanese. I suggest you also react to the newer version as it is much different to this one, more mature and gut wrenching.

P.S. Please do not open Dimash up! LOL He is extremely gifted and always studies. Music is his life. He started studying at the age of 4. In fact, he had his first performance then. I have been following Dimash for 5 years now and as hard as it is to pick a favorite, THIS is my favorite song. The first time I heard it was without the benefit of subtitles and I could not stop the tears from flowing. I did not understand a word but I didn't care, it touched my soul. To this day I can not listen to it without tears. Every time he performs this song in his concerts he does it differently and each time equally enthralling. Please look up the Kiev version, by far my favorite one.
