There is another version of this song in Japanese, I think it is much better. "Ikanaide" Tokyo Jazz Festival. a little more information. The author of this song "Ikanaide" said about Dimash that he heard the best performance by a foreigner in Japanese. By the way, Dimash will soon be in China at the presentation of the most prestigious award "Golden Panda" he will sing there and perhaps receive an award but the expense of the award these are our hopes for now 🙂

Do you mean my sound quality or the video of Dimash? If it's mine then apologies, I don't have a mic and I am recording on my phone so I know my sound quality isn't the best, although some people have said I'm too quiet, so I have turned me up....🙂xxx

I agree with some other commenters below, my favorite of his performance of this song is the first one he ever performed of it, from the 2017 I Am Singer Show. To me, it is unique in a couple of ways as well. It was the first time Dimash ever sang in Mandarin. He learned the song phonetically in one week. He chose a song that was very well known including backstory, to the Chinese people. Dimash was super worried that his pronunciation and accent might not be up to par and feared his audience might not understand him. The last thing he wanted to do would be to disrespect the Chinese audience with a sub par performance in their own language. Dimash had no reason to fear that. The love from the Chinese audience was apparent from the beginning of the performance and many openly wept during the performance. A more emotional reaction to a Dimash performance will not be found. If interested in watching that version, choose the video of it from the Gloria Wu channel which includes a rough translation of the Chinese as well as a very good beginning segment which explains the backstory to the song and why it is important to both the Chinese and Japanese peoples. If you can be honest I will be honest, this song is really not very good, he isn't very good singing it either. I have heard better singing voices, both male and female but most of those voices are gone now, the older ones from decades past and not too long past that sang much better than this. But I will stay to the end to help you out. :) Golly listen to Pentatonix [or one of the suggest ones I left for you in another comment, might have to blur the screen or put writing over the videos for copyright business for great voices and harmony to clear the taste left in our mouth or rather the ears, me personally I don't listen to Dimash or Angelena Jorgan. hahaha

I have actually listened to Pentatonix for years, pre and post Avi days, and they are very good, but to say that Dimash isn’t a good singer or this song isn’t good, he has won an award for Best Foreign Singer in Hong Kong for this song, now he does perform songs differently and this may not be everyone’s favorite version, but having listened to the opera greats, the rock greats, a cappella groups I honestly haven’t heard anyone with the technical capabilities, never mind range, diversity of languages, performance style and ability to convey emotion in any language- to me and many others, he’s incomparable.

It must include singers capable of singing songs with vocal requirements , individually or all them combined, such as Stranger, Ave Maria, Samaltau, Love of tired swans, Know, SOS, Endless dimensions, Love is like a dream, History of one sky, ..., etc. Waiting, ..., "per secula seculorum".
