Russian composer, Igor Krutoy wrote this song specially for Dimash at his request. As Igor put it: "Italians like to say that any composer is worth exactly as much as his latest work is worth, meaning that all previous achievements and achievements do not count... I listened very carefully to the fairly controversial and categorical statement made by representatives of this very musical country (both in the past and in the present), and began to look at my new compositions from the Italian perspective... One evening, about three months before 'New Wave', Dimash called and asked if I could write 'Ave Maria' for him, explaining his desire to sing something in such a stylistic way... It just so happens that I had the evening off, and I was happy to sit down on the piano and, remembering the Italian liability formula, worked inspiredly until I achieved the desired result... After taking a few days to have the song ‘rest’ in my ears, soul and heart, I sent it to Dimash, who literally said within half an hour that that's exactly what he wanted to hear. And, of course, the reception and applause given to Dimash by the audience at New Wave showed how happy it was to do what you love, to write for such a singer who has a genius for music, to evoke deep emotions in the public and to be in demand… In fact, Igor had already semi-retired earlier, but he came out of semi-retirement to work with Dimash. In a Russian TV interview, Igor said his mother had told him he needs to write songs for younger singers. But he replied that there aren’t any younger singers who can sing his songs. That’s why he decided to retire... but then he met Dimash. Together, the two of them have created many beautiful new songs. Igor writes specially to cater to Dimash’s exceptional range, ability and technique.

If you do a side by side comparison of Dimash singing super high notes and any female singing the same notes, you will find that Dimash does NOT sound like a female.Dimash notes have body and vibratto even in the highest pitches.They are not cutting, sharp or shrill but are "round " and enter the ear pleasantly. I agree with you, Jimmy. I felt the same way you did. This is not the Ave Maria that most people are familiar with. Dimash took us time-traveling to someplace less traveled. Back where it all started. More than 2000 years ago. Adored by many, a young learned, pious Jewish girl named Mariam(Mary). I literally can hear her voice, her side of the story, the anger, frustration, and the most chaotic moments of her life. If not all, it's in Dimash's storytelling.

On an interview he said his elders, parent, teachers etc, have always told him to keep his feet on the ground or he will get a illness called star head, star head has no cure, you stay like that so you have to stay grounded. Dimash is such a beautiful person inside and out, I’ve been obsessed with Dimash for 3 years now and there’s no cure for that neither, if you got a pill to have Dimashed illness I would throw them in the bin. He has loads of genres of music so I can listen to songs depending on my mood. I’d defo recommend if you have depression cause he lifts your spirits up the minute he opens his beautiful mouth, there’s always a beautiful sound comes out

The vocal coaches come to critic Dimash they send their students to learn. They call him maestro. The coaches say there is music before Dimash and there is music after Dimash. The vocal coaches say male singers don’t do this ….stay in your upper register or you will lose your chest and lower registers. Igor wrote this and Dimash sung it. Dimash asked igor to write him an ave Maria as he isn’t Christian but of Islam faith. Ali is in his name.
